Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
These are delicious. I'm a chocolate fiend so don't usually stray from chocolate desserts, however, this is probably a favorite cookie over any chocolate! I only wish I could find a recipe where it wasn't so crumbly. I added some water and still they were crumbly. The only reason this recipe didn't get a five star.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Too die for. We LOVED them. Our only complaint was there didn't seem to be enough in one batch. So I bought another mini-muffin pan and plan on making double.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

I think there is too much flour in this recipe. I could taste flour in the final result. I will cut back if I make them again.

No Bakes

YUMMY. I didn't change a thing. My only problem was eating the warm mixture before refrigerating it. :)

Very good. Mine were puffy and soft in the middle and crisp along edges.

Cherry Winks

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
The dough was extremely sticky! There was no way I was able to roll them into balls. I had to use a cookie scoop then drop them into the crushed cornflakes and roll them around with a spoon. Personally I think the cookie is better without the corn flakes.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

The cake quality people complain about doesn't bother me. The extremely sticky consistency does. They seem raw to me. If I would make again, I would definitely bake longer than recommend.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Delicious. My husband said it's now his favorite cookie. Doesn't make many in one batch so if you want a lot of these, definitely double or even triple.

Hearty Split Pea Soup

EXCELLENT! The only thing I did different was use chicken broth instead of water and I left out the garlic. Was super delicious and super easy. Definitely will make again!

Mom's Warm Milk

Very delicious! I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg just because I'm a cinnamon girl. This is definitely something I'll be making a lot this upcoming fall & winter season.

Moist. Delicious. Easy. My teenaged daughter and her friends said it was "awesome". Definitely a five star rating.

My family didn't care for this. I think one reason was too much corn. I'd recommend cutting back for those who want to try it.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
The basil & oregano totally overtook the dish. I cooked the noodles separately then added later and it still didn't seem like enough broth. I won't be making this again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Just add me to the many others here who LOVE this recipe. I made them for the first time today and was NOT disappointed. They were sooooo good. The only change I made was that I used the oil instead of butter. Otherwise, stayed the same. Next time I think I'll try the dash of cinnamon & vanilla in the batter. A huge thumbs up for this recipe!

Was good. We liked them. I did have a problem with the meat sliding off the bun. Won't stop me from making these again. Yum.

Tater Tot Bake

DELICIOUS! So super easy. I did as suggested by others and mixed the soup/mix combo into the meat mixture instead of pouring it over top. Makes a HUGE difference. This is definitely something that will become a staple in our monthly menu.

Green Bean Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
I've tried this before using a recipe I found in a magazine that had soy sauce in it. That was a huge failure so I was hesitant to try it again. But once I noticed no soy sauce I gave it a try. Boy am I glad I did. This was absolutely delicious! The only thing I changed was I used only a 1/2 cup of milk which is plenty and perfect. I even got my daughter to try it and she hates green beans. She loved it. That is saying a lot. I recommend this recipe not just for holidays but for any day. Especially during the summer months with fresh green beans.
