Pigs in a Blanket

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
Okay, this recipe gave me a great idea. I had frozen hot dogs and wanted to use them up. I microwaved 4 of them for about a minute and a half. I had some Kraft processed cheese and cut it into 8 slices. I used a can of Pillsbury crescent rolls, cut the hot dogs in half, put a slice of cheese on each triangle followed by the hot dog and rolled them up. They smelled wonderful cooking and my familly really enjoyed them. Thanks for the recipe!

Wow, easy to make and very delicious. I served them with Oven Scrambled Eggs recipe that I got from this site. I did use canned potatoes (only had them on hand) they were cubed and came out perfect. Will definitely make again. Thanks!

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
The best pork chop recipe that I have come across so far. I did brown them first by using olive oil spray with minced garlic. Just a minute or two for each side, then followed the recipe exactly. I made two packages which was 12 pork chops and my husband absolutely loved them. I never used golden mushroom soup before and I'm glad that I did because it was very good. Be very careful not to over cook and you won't be disappointed.

Whitney's Peanut Butter Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
My husband came home from work and told me that someone brought in peanut butter cookie balls for everyone. He said that they were great. He asked for the recipe, but I couldn't wait. I started my search and came across this recipe and thought that I would give it a try. Well, he said that it tasted exactly like what he had. He did suggest to cut back a little on the mini chocolate chips. I guess the other recipe did not have as many and he isn't a chocoholic. I did refrigerate before I rolled them and it seemed to be alot easier. Thanks for sharing!!

The flavor was awesome and the potatoes were so tender. I do like the sauce a little sticky maybe I'll try adding a little more brown sugar next time.

Peanut Butter Cake II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
We love peanut butter desserts and this one got great reviews. The only thing that I did differently was with the frosting I added a little extra peanut butter and had to add more heavy cream to get the right consistency. I piped some frosting around the bottom and on top. Drizzled some fudge topping (recipe from this site)and placed hershey kisses with peanut butter filling on the top. A slice and cup of coffee was the perfect ending to our dinner tonight. Thanks for sharing and I'll be making this cake quite often.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
Everyone at my house gave this dish a Big Thumbs Up! My teenage boys wanted a taste right out of the oven... they didn't want to wait for the rest of the meal. Even the neighborhood kids grabbed a fork and believe it or not when my one son turned his back, he left his dish at eye level for the dog and she enjoyed it as well. The only change that I made was that I didn't have corn flakes (only had frosted flakes) so I took 24 Ritz crackers and crushed them mixing with 4 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkled on the top.

Chocolate Chip Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This was prety good. It came out very moist and chocolate chips in every bite. I did use brown sugar instead of white and threw a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I left out the nuts because the kids usually complain. It's fast and easy to make and won't last long in my house!
