Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

I was amazed as how crispy the chicken gets. I did add some garlic herb spice and the taste was wonderful.

Baked Beans II

My husband didn't care for this dish and unfortunately he is the only one in the house that likes baked beans, so I am going on his opinion. In all fairness to the recipe, he thought that the beans were too sweet maybe next time I'll cut back on the brown sugar.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

This soup was pretty good but everyone noticed the different taste than what I usually make. I didn't care for the basil and oregano taste but they didn't seem to mind.

Shredded French Dip

Very good, I cooked it about 8 hours, added a extra can of beef broth because I could not find beef consomme. This was easy to prepare and tasted great.

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce

I didn't make the blooming onion but used the dipping sauce with some onion rings and everyone loved it. I did add a little extra cayenne and this will be a regular.

Marinade for Chicken

Sorry, the family was not crazy about this recipe. They ate it but said they would not eat it again. I don't like that soy taste and I even used light soy sauce and ommitted the salt.

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

Not bad, everyone seemed to like them. I did use onions flakes in place of the scallions. The potatoes had a nice spice to them, not too hot.

Delicious Egg Salad for Sandwiches

Made this recipe for lunch today. I did cut the recipe to one serving and it came out pretty good. I did not have green onions so I just used chopped vadalia onion. Thanks for sharing.

Oven-Roasted Vegetables

I increased the vegetables by using 3 zucchini, 3 squash, no red or yellow peppers because I didn't have them on hand. A pound of asparagus, a large vandalia onion, more olive oil and sprinkled garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper. Everyone went nuts over these veggies. I will make this quite often. Thanks!

Buttercream Icing

I made this icing for some cupcakes that I made for the kids. I used all butter and only added 3 cups of powdered sugar (which I thought was plenty) and used heavy cream instead of milk and added a little extra to get the consistency that I wanted. The kids loved it and the cupcakes disappeared quickly.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Made this for St. Patrick's Day and it was the perfect finish to our ham and cabbage meal. I followed the recipe exactly as written. I only had whole pecans so I did have to put them in my chopper and they made the cake look wonderful. My husband thought that it was really good but I couldn't get the kids (teenagers) to even try it. Oh well, their loss more for hubby and I! Thanks for sharing.

Honey Bun Cake I

Allright the taste gets a 4 star rating. It was pretty good, I did add a little extra cinnamon because we like cinnamon. However, I did use a bundt cake pan because I saw the picture with the recipe and it looked great. I followed the directions as stated to put the batter in a UNGREASED pan, but that was for a 9x13 glass baking pan and the cake did not come out cleanly. The bottom stuck on the pan, so if anyone uses a bundt pan my suggestion is to grease with a spray. I will make this again, but I will use a greased pan.

Wow, what a fast any easy dessert that turned out great. If your in a pinch and have ingredients on hand this is well worth it. I didn't have vanilla ice cream in the freezer but I will tomorrow and I can't wait.

Custard Bread Pudding

My husband is always asking me for bread pudding. I found this recipe and gave it a try and he loved it. I wasn't to crazy for the custard part but he ate it for a couple of nights and said it was still delicious.
