Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2009
Wow, I can't believe how good this was, I wanted to make taco's and realized that I didn't have a package of mix. I then came upon this recipe and had most of the ingredient's. I didn't have the sea salt, so table salt had to do. The spice was just perfect, I really enjoyed the flavor.

Oven-Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
I finally made this recipe for my husband. He has been asking for these fries and I followed the recipe as stated and also sprinkled some cayenne pepper. I cooked them at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes along with another french fries recipe.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
I was surprised how good this recipe came out. I made them for my son to go along with burgers for dinner. I did sprinkle a little seasoned salt on them also. I did cook them at 400 degrees and not the 450 that was stated and gave them a few tosses. I took them out around 45 minutes.

Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
Made this for my husband and he gave it a thumbs up. Since I'm dieting, I did not taste it but my husband said it was very light and not like the usual heavy cheesecake. I did use graham crumbs to make a crust on the bottom and sides. It's a very simple and easy recipe to make and one to be used in our house again, again and again.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Wow, this was delicious. The chicken was so moist and everyone loved it. I did leave out the sherry because I had none on hand, used chicken broth instead and added a liitle to bit of cream to the sauce.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Not bad, but I think I'll stick to the fried eggplant version.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
These were pretty good. I made 8 large and I think that next time, I'll put a little less in each and maybe the crumbs on top won't be as crunchy.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I can'y believe that I had this recipe saved in my recipe box for such a long time and waited so long to try it. It just can't get any easier! I used regular sliced bacon and followed the directions as written for the exception of longer cooking about 10 minutes more and flipped them one time. If you saved it, then you must try it, don't wait!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
I halved this recipe and I'm sorry I did, everyone just loved this dip. I did boil some chicken rather than the canned chicken. Served with tortilla chips and it was requested that I make it again next weekend when the football games are on.

Chocolate Chip Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This was prety good. It came out very moist and chocolate chips in every bite. I did use brown sugar instead of white and threw a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I left out the nuts because the kids usually complain. It's fast and easy to make and won't last long in my house!

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
I really like bread pudding when it's still a little warm and this recipe was no exception. The butterscotch flavoring was really good and I did add a little cinnanmon. It will be a favorite in the dessert selection. Thanks for sharing!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
This soup took no time to make and came out delicious. I did not have celery on hand and did add a little bit more of flour and water to thicken it up, just a personal desire. I will next time double everything because with the four of us there was very little left.

Pumpernickel Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
My family loves this dip. I made it for thanksgiving and they devoured it. We love pumpernickel bread and I also made a second batch of dip because the first goes so fast. I also had veggies on the side beside dipping the bread. Not a crumb was left!

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I'll never buy can cranberry sauce again. I followed the recipe exactly and my only problem was that I used a smaller pot and it did boil over a little and I quickly transfered to a bigger pot.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
I had a craving for something sweet and decided to give this recipe a try. I'm glad that I did it hit the spot. I didn't change anything and it came out moist and perfect. I usually make a big pan of blonde brownies, but this was a perfect size for us. Thanks for the post!

Herb Roasted Pork Loin and Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
One of the best roasted pork loins that I ever ate. I followed the recipe and added baby carrots in with the potatoes when I boiled them and I did sear the roast before putting it in the oven. Do not skip the last part, covering with foil when you take it out of the oven and let it sit 15 minutes before slicing. This roast was soo juicy!! Everyone enjoyed it and 4 lbs. of pork disappeared, no leftovers!!!

Zeppole

Sorry but there just wasn't enough flavor. Nobody went back for seconds, maybe some flavored extracts would help or cinnamon. It has potential and I'll give it another whirl.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
Mmmm, this was soo good. I did have to add an extra sweet potato because my crust was a 10 inch. I also sprinkled a little extra cinnamon too. My husband and I loved it, the kids wouldn't try it. Oh well, that's more for us!

This recipe was ok. I thought that it would be more gooey. Hubby thought it would taste better with a cup of coffee.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
Everyone loved this recipe. I did add an extra package of spinach because a full can of artichokes looked like alot and I used a whole jar (16oz.) of alfredo sauce. It does make alot and that's fine with us.
