Peanut Butter Cream Parfaits

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
Awesome, I doubled the recipe to make 4. I crushed oreo cookies very fine and layered the filling with the crushed oreo's. Topped it off with a little whipped cream and shaved small peanut butter cups on top.

Excellent, everyone loved this soup. The only substitution that I made was to use chicken broth instead of the beer.

Everybody liked this soup, followed all the ingredients with the exception of using the chicken bouillon because I had none on hand so I used chicken broth instead.

Pumpkin Parfait

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
OMG This was awesome, I did have to make a change. I used the 5oz. pkg, of Jello sugar free pudding and replaced the evaporated skim milk with an 8oz. container of Cool Whip Fat Free which I folded in after the other ingredients were mixed. I had those things on hand and they worked out GREAT. Served it in a wine glass, with a dallop of FF whipped topping and sprinkled some spiced waffer cookies that I put in a food processor, so it was nice and fine. Finished it off with half a spiced waffer cookie on top of the whipped topping. Everyone loved it and I think this might replace the pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving.

Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
When I told my husband that I was making this, he said," that's different". When he saw it, he said," that's not what I thought it was going to be". Then he tasted it and said, "this is soo good". I followed the recipe and added a little cinnamon and nutmeg. I also used fresh peaches, it was amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
Awesome, I didn't use the frozen loaf of bread but used Pillsbury pizza dough because that's what I had in the house. I followed the rest of the recipe and served it with a small bowl of marinara sauce.

The guys really liked this the other night. The flavor was great, just like at a favorite restaurant we go to. Next time, I will have to double the bread on the table because it was gone in a flash!!

Chicken Alfredo with Plum Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
Outstanding, can't wait to make it again. I did not use the jar sauce, but had two envelopes of another sauce which is our favorite, whipped them up and sauteed the tomatoes in the wine. Sliced the breast of chicken and layed it on a bed of bow tie noodles, added the tomatoes and sauce. Mmmmmm soo good! Thanks for sharing.

Baked Flounder

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
Made this for my husband and he loved it. I used 1 nice thick and fresh flounder fillet, used cayenne powder instead of marjoram, husband's preference, white wine and italian bread crumbs. I did cook it a little longer due to the thickness.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
This is my husband's review, since I don't eat seafood (and may I add that we live on the water and can get an abudance of seafood) he said that it was really good. He loved the flavor and so did my son.

Butter Brickle Frozen Delight

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Made this for 4th of July and to quote my son, he said, "this is probably the best dessert that I ever made, but the messiest". The five stars is for the taste and presentation, however the graham cracker crumbs are too hard to cut through when you serve it and eat it. I then put the leftovers back in the freezer and the next night when we ate dinner, I put it in the fridge to see if the crumb layer would soften and that was a mistake because the layers started to slide due to the carmel sauce. It's definitely a great dessert and the family will ask for it often.
