Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
Wow, this prime rib came out perfect. The flavor was awesome, I did use a few sprinkles of kosher salt instead of table salt and I cooked it a little longer because the kids don't like it too rare.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
Excellent!! My husband said that he would like to try white chicken chili and I told him that I had a recipe that I wanted to try. Shame on me, for waiting soo long. We loved it and I didn't have any jalapenos or cumin on hand and it still was delicious. Thanks for sharing!!

Easy Italian Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
This is my family's favorite marinade. The flavor is outstanding and I also use it with baked potatoes cooked in the microwave, slice them and put them in a bowl with the salad dressing. Cook them on the grill for enough time to just brown the potatoes.

Reese's® Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Brownie Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2007
I had a bag peanut butter/ milk chocolate chips and wanted to use them up before it gets too hot. I found this recipe and decided to give it a try. They came out very good. I did use a full stick of butter, other than that followed the recipe exactly. If you like peanut butter, you'll like this brownie. The peanut butter flavor is very rich.

Toll House Crumbcake II

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2007
This recipe is similar to a recipe that I make. If you love chocolate then you'll love this cake. My family said to cut back on the chocolate chips next time and I agreed. Also, they prefer the cinnamon and sugar topping then the crumb topping. The cake does come out very moist.

This dish went well with our grilled pork roast. I did throw a little parsley on the carrots and everyone liked them.

Ice Cream Sandwich Desserts

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
Absolutely delicious!!! If you are going to a bbq in the near future than this is the perfect dessert to bring. My family loved it. I did take another viewer's suggestion and let the cool whip firm up in the freezer before spreading the fudge sauce on top. This will be a highly requested dessert at our house. Thanks soo much for sharing!!

Macaroni Salad for a Crowd

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
Not bad, I did make a few changes. I left out the black olives, cut the recipe in half, used sweet relish (all I had on hand)and reduced the amount in half. I will definitely make again.

This salad came out great. I did cut the recipe in half because we had alot of side dishes. I also liked the bacon flavor and will keep this recipe in the regular file.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
I thought that this dish was good, but the rest of the family said it was just ok. I had to use cream of celery soup instead of cream of chicken. Next time I'll definitely cut the recipe in half.

Baked Potato Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
Everyone seemed to enjoy this dish. I did not have any chives on hand and I cheated by using three cans of cubed potatoes. Will probably make it again.

Stuffed Peppers for Two

Reviewed: May 17, 2007
This recipe was excellent, my husband and son loved them and requested that I make it more often. I did have to change one thing. I did not have a can of sauce so I used a can of whole peeled tomatoes and put them in a food processor. Thanks for the post!

Pat's Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
This is the best recipe mushroom saute that I have tasted. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of cutting back a little of the balsamic vinegar. I'm not really a big fan of that taste. I added a dash of worcestershire sauce and some onions. Absolutely the best and my search for sauteed mushrooms is over!! Thanks for sharing.

Potato, Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
This soup was very good, but I did make some additions to it. I added minced garlic when I sauteed the onions and when I pureed half the soup I added some cooked carrots. Also, I did not use 3 cups of cheese, probably 1 1/2 cups and it came out wonderfully. I love thick soups on cold days with a slice of Italian bread.
