Classic Macaroni Salad
This recipe is basically like my own recipe, except with about 1/2 the amount of sugar, and I use Miracle Whip plus diced hard-boiled eggs. But what I do when I make macaroni or potato salad is I mix up the vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and yellow mustard and add it to the hot macaroni or potatoes and refrigerate it for a couple of hours or overnight. This gets more flavor into the macaroni or potatoes. Also if your dressing seems a little dry, try adding a splash of milk. At family reunions, etc., my kids would only eat my salads.
