I am a Certified Sign Language Interpreter from Indiana. I am married and LOVE spending time with my family. Cooking is one of my favorite things to's a de-stressor (along with cleaning and calligrapy). I'm always looking for new ways to cook things and my favorite kind of dishes to cook are usually Polynesian. I like dishes with intense flavors and bold color.

I tried to make my own "special, homemade" cream of chicken. I thought I could just put chicken broth and flour together and VOILA! But was disgusting and sadly, I threw it all away (apparently I was confident it would turn out well and made a BUNCH of it!). Good times.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
This is, hands down, one of my FAVORITE recipes. There are a few things I changed, though. I used 1 tsp. ginger and garlic powder to taste in the sauce. I also doubled the sauce because it was not enough for us. Also, after cooking the chicken, I only poured half of the sauce in with the chicken to coat it, transferred it to a bowl and then cooked the rest of the sauce alone and added a little bit of cornstarch to thicken it up a have to watch the sauce carefully though because it burns easily. We also served it with pasta and just mixed it all together. Very good with either pasta or rice. Thanks for this recipe!

Buffalo Chicken Rolls
I am not a big buffalo sauce girl, but this recipe turned out fantastic!!! The only complaint for me was that it was pretty salty. Also, I used shredded cheese (you can stuff more in there!). It makes it harder to roll, but totally worth it! Great recipe!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken
My husband and I absolutely LOVE this recipe! I ended up using a tad bit less butter, cutting up the chicken into bite-sized pieces and serving it over rice. I also doubled the sauce and that made for a really nice sauce to put over the rice. VERY yummy!
