Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
This tuned out awesome! I did make some changes...I followed MommyFromSeattle's advice and used 1/2 applesauce for the oil, used 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white, didn't drain the zucchini, and omitted the nuts. I also topped mine with some raw sugar before baking...fantastic!!!

Purple Plum Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Very good! I had a couple of pluots that I needed to use up so I made 1/2 of this recipe. The only other changes that I made were that I did not use a pie crust, and I used brown sugar in the topping instead of white. And now i will admit something. I ate this all by myself...within a couple of hours. I'm just keepin' it real...

super good! This was my first time ever having a white russian and I likey!! I made them just a tad stronger and used cream. i think next time I'll try them with milk, because the cream was pretty heavy (but tasty!)

Santa Fe Rice Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
This was just ok for me. My husband said it was too vinegary, but I didn't think that was the problem. I just think it really needed some seasoning. After I added some garlic powder and a little chili powder it was better, but still not great.

Tomato-Cornbread Salad with Avocado and Cilantro

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
I really liked this. I was making for only me for lunch so I scaled it was down and pretty much just eyeballed everything. I used some green onions that I have instead of the red onion and I left out the cilantro because I didn't have any. Really nice, summery, simple, and pretty healthy lunch :)

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
These were fantastic! I do recommend a longer marinating time though...the longer they marinated, the better they got. I don't have a grill so I baked these as some other reviewers suggested. My husband LOVED these and said that I need to make them regularly...which is saying a lot because he's Mr.Picky! Thanks for an awesome recipe :)

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
These were so good!! I made them for my kids for breakfast and they LOVED them...they were fighting over the last one!! I only made half a batch and that gave me 9 mini muffins. Other than halving the recipe, I made them exactly as written. I will for sure be making these again and will keep this recipe in my "Favorites" file. These are so easy to make too! :)

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
These were really tasty! I did make some changes though, due to what I had on hand...I used self rising flour so I omitted the salt and baking powder, I used some buttermilk and a squirt or chocolate syrup for the chocolate milk, and I just eyeballed the chocolate chips, so I probably used more than called for. I just topped these with a dusting of powdered sugar and they were delish! Thanks!

These were really good! Much better than using the canned stuff! I didn't change a thing other than adding a splash of worcestershire sauce. Served these on homemade buns and baked french fries I from this site...yum!

This was really, really good! I made a few minor changes though, I omitted the baking powder and salt, added 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and since I'm almost out of butter I used olive oil. Fantastic!
