Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
Amazing! My first attempt at making real bread, not just a "quick" bread! We couldn't stop eating it. Next time I will try half whole wheat flour and half all-purpose. A MUST-TRY recipe!

Pat's Baked Beans

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
This is by far the most excellent baked beans recipe in the entire universe and I mean really! There needs be no drifting away from the original recipe. My family doesn't like garbanzo beans, so I just doube the baked beans, and the only baked beans I use are Bush's Country Style! Happy eatings!

Gnocchi Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This is our favorite gnocchi recipe! I actually use smoked sausage links (1 lb.), 26 oz. spaghetti sauce, 4 oz. cheese, and 1 lb. gnocchi! It is outstanding. Thanks for sharing :)

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
We've made Eggplant Parmesan before and this is exactly how we make it with two changes. 1. To bread the eggplant, we like to dip it in parmesan cheese, then egg, then the bread crumbs. 2. We like to put about a tablespoon or two of EVOO in a pan and brown the eggplant in the EVOO. Then we assemble just as this recipe calls for. It is delicious and a little messy, but wonderful! :)

Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Excellent flavor, excellent texture. I brought it for my church's potluck lunch, and many people asked for the recipe so I led them to this web site! I didn't have mushrooms, so I left them out. But followed the recipe to the "T," and my husband said, "you can definitely make this again!" Thanks!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
I was looking for a recipe with orzo because my mom bought me some and I had never eaten it nor cooked it before. And now this is my husband's favorite recipe I've ever made! We add chicken that I cook with Italian dressing. I let the chicken brown up a little and the Italian dressing to burn on the bottom of the pan and then add a little bit of water so the chicken can soak up all of the good drippings! We add that to the finished orzo, and it is outstanding! Many of my friends love this recipe now, as well! Thanks so much!

Easy Raspberry Lemonade

Reviewed: May 25, 2007
I have served this at two of my college get-togethers and everyone raved about it! When I think on getting married, I want to use this for the reception! This punch is delightful! We made the ring out of the concentrated can of lemonade, limes, sprite, and frozen raspberries - fabulous!
