This sauce was good, but not quite what I was looking for. My boyfriend loved it, though, and said it was the best he's had. I guess it's just preference. I did use shallots instead of onion, and added garlic and some oregano, which I think added some flavor.

Playgroup Granola Bars

These are really good. I added a little applesauce like another reviewer suggested, and they came out chewy, more like a cookie than a granola bar. But the flavor was great.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These muffins are great! The first couple times I followed the recipe as is, and they turned out great. I have since tweaked it a little, and use buttermilk instead of milk, and add a tsp. of vanilla, just to fit my own tastes. Great recipe!

Aunt Carol's Apple Pie

This is the best apple pie. I add a little nutmeg and vanilla also, which make it even better. I now get requests to bring apple pie to every party, the family loves it! Thanks for the great recipe!

Creamy Caramel Flan

This is the best flan! I was looking for something creamy, not jiggly like some flan that I have tried. This is very creamy and delicious. I add a splash of water to the sugar when melting, it makes it melt much quicker. After trying other recipes for flan, this is definitely the best! Thanks!
