I was looking for a meat dish to take to a pot luck and thought this would be a good choice because it is cooked in a crockpot. I had never made cabbage rolls before but found that this recipe is very easy. The only thing I would add is to boil the entire head of cabbage after carefully cutting out the center stump. It made removing the individual leaves easier. The sauce was good, but I might want to double the sauce next time, if I wanted a lot of sauce. The meat was delicious, and most of my family just ate the meat mixture inside after taking it out of the cabbage leaves (you know kids). Over all, I would make this again because I myself loved it. The only reason I gave it a 4-star is because it has been years since I have tasted any other cabbage roll recipe and I have nothing to campare it to as to being the BEST.
