Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
Delicious! Took other reviewer's suggestions and used lite sour cream instead of mayo, and used rotel instead of salsa. Also added a layer of refried beans on the bottom. Yum!!! Will definitely make again!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2014
Delicious!!! Made half with chocolate chips, and half with craison and white chocolate chips. Both turned out amazing! Followed the recipe exactly (the cinnamon is the secret ingredient!), except I just froze the dough in the freezer for 10 min while the oven was preheating, then used a cookie baller instead of pressing flat with a fork. Be sure to take the cookies out when they are just beginning to turn brown around the edges. Then let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring. So good!

Italian Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2013
This is fantastic! I made it to bring to a party, but I barely had enough to bring because I ate so much of it beforehand! The only thing I changed was to added halved cherry tomatoes to the mix. Thank you so much for posting this recipe!!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
Amazing!! This really is meatball nirvana! The only change I made was to use an egg instead of milk, and leave out the hot sauce. Sooooo good! Will definitely make again!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
Delicious! Took another reviewer's advice and added chicken stock to the pan, after letting the outside cook in the olive oil, then covered with a lid and let cook on low until done. Used twice as much spice as called for - it definitely needed it.

Can't even tell that the butter is missing! Doubled the spices and added chocolate chips to bump up the flavor, and it turned out great!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2012
So good! I added nearly 4 cups of shredded zucchini, substituted apple sauce for half the oil, and substituted a cup of brown sugar for 1 cup of the white sugar, as other reviewers had suggested, and it turned out delicious and super moist!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Awesome. Followed the recipe to a T (except for mashing the bananas instead of slicing) and it turned out moist and delicious! Thanks for the amazing recipe!

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
Yum! Made these in cupcake tins, and the brownie "erupted" through the cheesecake layer, but they still turned out delicious! I tried one without any frosting, and it was so rich already that I decided not to put frosting on any of them. Very tasty!

Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Soooooooo good! Picked up a loaf of french (italian) bread at Hy-Vee, sliced it up, broiled it on low, topped it with creamy mixture, add cucumber slices, and topped with dill - soooo good!!! I forgot to add the italian dressing mix, and it was still good! Makes a great cracker spread - yum!!!

Runzas (meat pies)

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
Delicious!! I think they would be even better with some mozzarella cheese inside! I used sauerkraut instead of cabbage, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly, and it worked great! My husband scarfed one down and even went for a second one, even though he said he didn't have room!! Yum!!
