White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
This was a very good cheesecake. I rated it a 4 star because of the difficulty I had straining the raspberries. Just a note, because it thickens the sauce you should strain the raspberries before you add the cornstarch. Made one for us to try and one for our cheesecake loving neighbor. They rated it 5 stars. It's sweeter than your usual cheesecake. Will definitely make again.

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
This was really good. I added another cup of wine and thickened the sauce with cornstarch. If you add just a little brown sugar to the sauce, it might be the taste you think is missing. Because I make alot of sauce I used 3T of brown sugar. But you should add it according to your taste. One more thing - Use a good marsala wine it will make a difference.

My family loves this. I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect. Husband had two of them after a huge Sunday dinner. They were so easy to make. We ate them out of the ramikins topped with berries. Thank you for a wonderful and easy recipe.

Tried this recipe as written but ended up doctoring it when it turned out a little to bland. Added more garlic, red wine, worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, 2 onions. Family loved it.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
This was a great base recipe. Like some of the other reviewers I added ingredients according to my tastes. I added onion and fresh mushrooms after sauteing them in butter and garlic. I will make this again but cut back on the amount of flour in order to get a creamier sauce.

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Made this for Xmas. I used a Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing packet. Everyone liked it. I made one change and that was to add real bacon bits as suggested by other reviewers. This makes alot but my hubby managed to eat the rest the next day.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I usually sear the meat in a skillet before putting it in the oven but decided to try this recipe. I started out at 500 degrees but after 10-15 minutes it started to smoke so I turned it down to 400 degrees for another 15 minutes. Then cooked at 325 degrees. The roast was flavorful and juicy. I received rave reviews from my family.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
I made this exactly as the recipe was written. We really liked it. I think I will leave off the topping (sugar, flour, butter) because it ended up hard after baking. I think I will sprinkle a little sugar on top after baking. I am also going to add the vanilla that others have suggested. I think it was just a little bland, but still very good.

Wonderful Cheescake. I have been making this recipe since I found it in 2007. I reviewed it back then but somehow it disapeared from my recipe box. It's one of my families favorite cheescakes.

Bread Pudding III

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Changed this a little. I used cinnamon raisin bread (no need to add raisins), 5 eggs (all I had),1/2c brown sugar,1/4 c white sugar, no salt, 2 cups milk and I warmed the milk didn't scald it. The cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and butter I kept the same. Cooked it in a water bath. My hubby loved it. I usually follow the recipe exactly the first time but my bf told me her recipe so I mixed the two recipes. (Mine is better) Thanks for a great starter.

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
This is a wonderfully easy recipe that ends up tasting like a pork roast. I needed a Sunday dinner that could cook while we were out. This was perfect. I didn't have chicken with rice soup so I used 14oz can of chicken buillion and 2 instant low sodium packets of chicken boullion and added 1/2 package of dry onion soup mix. I also added 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Added baby carrots an hour before it was finished and it turned out wonderful.
