Soba with Toasted Sesame Seed Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
Tasty. Your basic Asian type sauce. Soba noodles are so good for you so I make this and my kids eat it too. FYI, you can buy roasted sesame seeds at an Asian food market. I used brown sugar with mine.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
Better than expected, even given all the rave reviews. Awesome! And healthy. I also used applesauce (unsweetened) instead of apple butter and 1 c. of sugar was enough for them to be slightly sweet. Also switched the measurements of the whole wheat flour and al-purpose flour. I added shredded coconut. Didn't have wheat germ so I used ground flax on top. Very moist. You forget they're healthy. Great with a cup of coffee. Thanks.

Hearty Pasta Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This is one of my favorite soups and I've tired quite a few. I omit the mushrooms b/c I don't like them but otherwise, I follow the recipe exactly. It's very hearty and makes a lot. I have a huge crock pot and it fills it up to the top. So, lots of leftovers. Easily adaptable for different vegetables. Great with some crusty bread. Everyone who has tried it loves it. I think I'll try turkey sausage next time. And I use Italian sausage without the casings b/c I like it that way for the soup.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
Like this recipe needs any more reviews but I had to comment. It was heavenly. One of the best cookie recipes I've tried. Had one or three right out of the oven and they were divine. I followed the recipe exactly except I only had salted butter but it was fine. I cut back just a tad on the sugar since some people commented that they were so sweet. Amazing.

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
Wonderful and so easy. I use my own spices/rub for the pork but follow the rest of the recipe as stated. It is tender and so good. I like Sweet Baby Ray's for a sweeter sandwich.

Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
Everything has already been said about this pie. It is the easiest pie to make and tastes so good as is. I also add some flour to absorb the juices. The crumble part makes the pie awesome. I get asked for the recipe all the time. Love it.

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This is a good, easy and pretty fast dish to make. I always cut this in half b/c we are only a family of 4 and this makes enough for us. I make my own turkey meatballs. I use 1-1.5 lbs ground turkey, 1 egg, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, and 1 tsp of Italian seasoning. I roll them all into medium meatballs and drop them into the mixture. It all cooks up in 3-4 hours on high in the crock pot. Very easy meal and yummy. The kids like it too.

Easy Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This is a very good basic recipe. I like mine a little sweeter so I added a little more sugar. Or you could use Splenda to make it more calorie friendly. But otherwise, it is very good. And super easy!! You could also add some flavored syrup. And it's easy on the pocketbook. Thanks Christy.
