I know I'm in the minority here, but this did not turn out right at all. I used a honey-glazed ham and bone left over from Thanksgiving, which gave the soup a disgusting sweetness that I could not get rid of, no matter how much salt I added. Also, just an FYI for those of you trying this with crockpots--it took WAY longer. The beans were still cooking after 10 hours when I finally went to bed. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to throw away the soup. Maybe it would have been better with a regular ham?
