Chicken Cordon Bleu II

So So So So Very Delicious!! Everyone in my family loved it. Leftovers were few but yummy as well. The chicken was great on its own but add the cream sauce and this dish is absolute nirvana.

BLT Salad

My husband and I didn't love this, it was rather bland. I might try something similar with thousand island dressing instead next time.

Fudgy Milk Chocolate Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
I have made this for 3 fondue parties so far. It's delicious and so much less hassle than melting fondue chocolate!

Magic Cookie Bars II

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
Sooooo good! I've been making these since I found this recipe here a year ago and they have quickly become a family favorite. I omit the nuts (due to allergies) and double the recipe and bake it all in a 10x18 pan. They freeze well too!

Beer Battered Fried Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
this turned out ok but not fabulous. The batter had a good flavor but it was too thick.

Honey Cornbread

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
delicious! I substituted melted coconut oil for the vegetable oil and used only the egg yolks, no whites (due to allergies). I also used whole milk instead of cream and added an extra splash of honey. So yummy!

Rich 'N Thick Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
delicious. I made it exactly as described with whole milk. I didn't whisk it and the chocolate wasn't totally blended, but then I put it in my "hot chocolate pot" and that whipped it right up into a yummy frothy heavenly concoction! We served with freshly whipped cream and Bailey's and it was very popular

SOOO yummy! I followed the recipe to the letter and it made 24 perfect mini quiches. The cheese in the crust is a great touch!

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
Absolutely delicious! We followed the recipe to the letter except... egg yolk only, no egg white due to allergy. No nuts (my son is allergic to those too), so I used double the chocolate chips instead. The kids, me and Grandma all love these muffins!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly as written except I used 1 egg yolk instead of the whole egg. It made 12 small muffins that were quickly gobbled up! My son asked me to make more as soon as possible.

Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
this turned out pretty good considering it was whole wheat, but still not fabulous enough to make twice. I substituted chocolate chips for the nuts due to a nut allergy in the family.

Blueberry Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
These were easy to make and so delicious! I made the following changes based on other reviews: added an extra 1/4 cup flour and also rolled the blueberries in flour. Added 1/4 c white sugar , 1 tsp vanilla, and sprinkled sugar on top of the scones. I also used cream instead of half & half. I shaped them into 4" squares and cut diagonally for triangles. I baked some right away and froze half to bake later (thawed for only a few minutes, then baked as per recipe). Delicious both ways!! This recipe is a keeper.
