Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2012
The best carrot cake ever! I have made this numerous times and everyone raves about it every time. I will never even try another recipe! This doesn't need to be touched...it's perfect! Be sure to use a nice, mild cream cheese icing recipe though...not one that's too sweet and you will not be able to beat this one.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: May 7, 2012
Such a pain to make but tastes delicious. It's not the kind of fondant you immediately peel off your cake because it's tastes bad. Easy to work with once you get the sugar mixed in.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Creamy, rich, and just enough pumpkin flavor...plus the double layers made it look so pretty!! I made my own graham cracker crust and used pumpkin pie spice instead of the seperate spices. So yummy...i will be making this one time and time again!!!

Almond Shortbread I

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
one of the best shortbread cookies i've ever had. the cookie was rich and buttery with just enough almond flavor. this will definitely become a Christmas cookie recipe staple in my house! just be sure to not roll the dough too thin because they are very delicate.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
I have made this recipe so many times and everyone raves about it. It is especially good in the summertime. I do not add the brown sugar because I think it makes it a bit too sweet. I also dice all of the fruit the same size because it makes it look nicer. I always use real melted butter for the tortillas and not the spray because everything is better with real butter. It coats the tortillas better too. Now when I bring it to a holiday or a party, I print a few copies of the recipe out because I know that everyone will be asking for it.
