Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2005
fabulous!!! I've already given the recipe to 4 people, I loved it, kids loved it, and hubby loved it! I did add one can of beef broth just for a little more flavor. Thanks for a great chilly day meal!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
So versatile and yummy. I made a herb butter with rosemary, garlic salt, and paprika and placed it between the skin and the breast of the chicken. Rubbed down the skin with a little more butter and s&p. Cooked it to the directions and it turned out terrific. Be sure to make gravy with the drippings! Just as good as the chicken itself.

Spinach Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
Made these for Easter dinner and they were recived very well. This recipe rates at the top of my deviled eggs recipes. Although I didn't find myself gobbling them down one right after the other. Will make again!

Enchiladas Suizas

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
YUMMY!! I crave these babies! Used a chuck roast that I had in the crock pot and WOW. This is one of my all time favorites from this site. Used black olives instead of green and used just a yellow onion. Try these once in your lifetime

Broccoli Cheese Soup

I'll agree with the other 408 people that think this recipe is wonderful! It made alot and I was able to invite my brother and his wife for dinner. We all loved it and my 3 year old had 2 bowls full. I followed the recipe exactly as stated. Super fast and I even had all the ingredients on hand. Yummy in my tummy!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2005
Y-U-M-M-Y!! Stayed soft even on day two, if they last that long. I probably ate 3 dozen myself! Gave some to the neighbors who called within 5 minutes ranting and raving. My one and only chocolate chip cookie recipe. Thanks Debbi and Tegan!

Donna's Cheesy Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2005
Maybe if I would have followed the recipe exactly it would have warranted a 5 star rating. I did like so many of the others suggested and added sour cream instead of heavy cream and added an extra egg. It really was good. I also added some ham and when I do it again, I will cut the onion in half. It took over an hour to cook probably due to the extra egg. I really didn't mind because I really enjoyed it and hubby liked it too.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
I have to give this 5 stars because it really is so versatile! I didn't have enough crackers so I added about 1/3 of a cup of parmesan cheese and a little sprinkle of salad seasoning from McCormick to what crackers I did have, which was probably about 1/2 cup. Turned out Heavenly! I think when I do it again next week I will try to cut back on the butter! Every one loved it, my kids said it was like eating chicken nuggets. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate Caramel Nut Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
Took it to a family function and it was the only salad that was completely gone! I definately added more apples and grapes and used poppables snickers. I'm taking it to a graduation party tomorrow. Fun and people love to talk about it trying to figure it out.

Mom's Mozzarella Chicken for Drew

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
Super easy and I had all the ingredients on hand! I cooked it in the chicken broth instead of all the oil. Omitted the onion because I didn't feel like chopping one up and it tasted great! Oh I did season the breasts with season salt and served it over whole wheat spaghetti. Kids ate it up and hubby gave it a 4.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
I'm so sorry but they were nothing to rant and rave about, I made them for a father's day dinner and my husband didn't even have seconds!! I did roast the garlic like others had suggested, and the funny thing is that we could barely taste it. They were good and I will definately try them again..maybe with more cheese and more garlic. I did add some milk, probably about 1/3 cup for my 8 servings.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
Really yummy! I made it for father's day brunch and hubby ate it up...i think he ate atleast half of the whole dish! When I do it again, I'll reduce the amount of spinach, I really like spinach but it was a bit overpowering. Loved the feta..oh baby! I didn't use all the egg mixture because it was so full, maybe by reducing the spinach I will be able to use all the eggs. Thanks for the recipe! Served with fresh fruit and a smoothie.

Turkey Delight

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
Super easy after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. My kids and hubby ate it up. No leftovers! I gave it 5 stars for ease of preparation and list of ingredients was minimal. On flavor I would have given it a 4. This one is going in the recipe box. Thanks

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
I think the measurements are off and so our experience with this was way to over powering! We added two cans of tuna and the mayo was still way too much. The curry was a nice added flavor, but again I felt there wasn't a good blend of flavors.I'm sure if I tweeked things a bit and added some crunchy pickles and almonds this recipe would be great, will have to try again with my own experimenting. As the recipe stands now, not my favorite!

Gobbled it up! Not even one little spoonful left. All 5 kids ate it without one complaint. Hubby disappointed that there weren't any leftovers. I will double the recipe next time. Followed it to a tee and used canadian bacon. YUMMY!

Turkey Pot Pie II

Super easy and great for leftovers from thanksgiving dinner! Not one complaint and everyone ate it up. I used store bought pie crusts even though I had one left over from thanksgiving. I also added the poultry seasoning, garlic salt, pepper, and parsley as others had suggested. I love the ease of preperation of this all in one meal and can't forget how yummy it was. Thanks

Classic Waffles

finally a waffel recipe that is exactly what I am looking for....crisp yet soft. I too sifted the dry ingredients. It helped a ton to put the waffles on a paper towel, they stayed crisp like waffels should be! Thanks everyone for all the helpful hints!
