Spaghetti Pizza Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Upon reading other reviews I cut back on the milk, and cooked an extra 15 min. It still came out watery. Otherwise, it tasted like spaghetti. I doubt I'll make it again, making old fashion spaghetti would be quicker.

This was pretty good. Kids enjoyed it, but was a little spicy for them. I'll cut back on the cayenne next time.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
Definately a keeper!! I doubled the recipe the first time I made it, and I'm glad I did! It disappeared in one setting!! I added 2 tbsp sugar (just add 1 tbsp if not doubling the recipe as is) and it took appx 45 minutes to bake a doubled recipe in a 9 x 13 glass dish. This will no doubt be a family recipe from now on! Thanks Ruthie!!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
This was my first time making candy that required a thermometer, so I was nervous about making this. I was always told it was hard to get a recipe right when a thermometer was involved. Well, this was the EASIEST recipe and the results were out of this world! I made it for gift baskets for Christmas and literally everyone asked for more! I followed the advice of previous testers and used 1/2 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I upped the peanuts to 1 1/2 cups (although I might throw in an extra 1/2 cup on this next batch to make it 2 cups), and I added 1 tsp of vanilla. I used roasted peanuts, so I didn't add them to the sugar mixture until it reached 250 degrees and then continued cooking until the mixture reached 305 degrees. Perfect!!! Thanks for this recipe! I'm ready to try some new candy recipes now!

Kids enjoyed this snack in the beginning, but halfway through the amount, they lost interest. I will probably make again and give as part of the holiday gift baskets.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
Omg!! Is it possible to give 6 stars!?!?! Thanks to this recipe my daughters (who are 12 and under) have made 7 batches of these in the past 2 weeks, mostly for a hubby/daddy who DOES NOT eat sweets! When my brother (who also raved about the cookies) asked for the recipe my hubby threatened to divorce me if I gave it up! lol Said I needed to add it to my secret recipe stash! lol The best yet!! I used chocolate chunks instead of chocolate chips...mmmmmmmmm! This recipe really deserves 6 stars!!!

Chicken Supreme III

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
This is definately a keeper! The only thing I did different was instead of condensed cream of chicken soup I used condensed cream of celery. Hubby said the recipe is a keeper and my middle daughter (she's the picky eater) asked if I could make it again tomorrow!

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2005
Awesome!! This is going to be a family favorite, I can tell! There wasn't any leftovers!! The only thing I did different was instead of the cayenne and the onion powder, I used 3/4 tsp. of Cajun Seasoning. WOW! My middle daughter (the pickiest of the three) even cleaned her plate!
