Garlic Bubble Ring

Mine rose waaay too much but cooked ok. But I thought the pieces would be really buttery and garlicky, but they really tasted like bread with a hint of butter and garlic.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Great recipe. Neither the balsamic vinegar or soy sauce flavors are too strong, they work together very well. Asparagus was cooked perfectly and got rave reviews from friends and family.

St. Patrick's Colcannon

This was good and liked by my dinner guests. Everyone in my party thought it needed more salt (I went light after reading a review saying it was too salty). I also thought a whole head of cabbage was too much, but it was okay. I also used corned beef from the deli.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I did mine in the slow cooker as others, but once they were done cooking all the butter/grease rose to the top and was really unappealing looking. I scooped it off using a spoon as best I could. It still tasted good and I got a lot of compliments, but I wish it wouldn't have gotten so greasy.

Tater Tot Casserole III

Took some reviewers suggestions. Used 1/2 beef and 1/2 ground turkey w/ an onion, garlic, garlic powder and Worcestershire. Added some frozen corn instead of green beans and cheese on top of the meat mixture. This was good, but not to die for...I may make it again.

Cookie Pizza

This looked better than it tasted. I felt like it needed more peanut butter flavor, not less. The marshmallows gave it kind of a funny texture when they cooled. If I made it again I'd leave off the marshmallows, use milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.

Caramel Bars

Took other reviewers suggestions - doubled the "crust" part and chocolate chips; used pecans, cut down a bit on the butter and only cut after chilling the fridge. I really liked them and got great reviews from others on them. Definitely keeping the recipe.

Ravioli Dolci (Sweet Ravioli)

I made these as circles and they baked up better looking than they were raw. I used Nutella instead of jam. Next time I'll roll the dough thinner as there seemed a lot more cookie than filling and I didn't get that many cookies from 1 batch.

Herbed Chicken Nuggets

Seemed a little too "herb-y" for me and I left out the parsley (didn't have it). I'd make these again, but cut down on the thyme and maybe add some Parmesan cheese to the breading. It was pretty quick and easy.

Cake Balls

These were a huge hit. I made 2 kinds. 1) red velvet cake w/ cream cheese frosting dipped in semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2) chocolate fudge cake with chocolate fudge frosting dipped in white chocolate. I had troubles with the dipping in chocolate, but found it was much easier when a good amount of shortening was added - made it much thinner and easier to use.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

These were fantastic. I also used regular milk instead of cream in the filling and thought it was great. I made mine smaller and cooked for ~8 minutes until the bottom of the cookies was a dark golden brown - they were still chewy but not underdone.

Chicken Enchiladas II

I use all the filling in the tortillas and a can of red enchilada sauce on the top. Instead of cooking it, I put 2 in a tupperware container and freeze it. Then dethaw a night before and my husband microwaves it at work - he loves it!

I used regular oats as I didn't have quick-cooking on hand and they were a little chewy - next time I'd make the effort to get the quick-cooking ones, but these were still tasty.

Chocolate Covered Easter Eggs

These were good, but very hard to dip in chocolate. I used sweetened coconut because that's all I had. And I used mint extract in one batch, but should've used peppermint extract, the taste was a little off. Makes a lot of eggs!
