awesome, pureed 1/4 onion, 3 garlic cloves and a chunk of ginger to start. Added a teaspoon of Pataks Curry paste, some coriander and a lot of cayenne to give it a good kick.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Baked at 335 for 12mins. Tastes good, but I'll chill the dough next time in hopes they will less cake-like.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
This was fantastic. I added the extra milk as well. Next time I think I'll reduce the sugar by 1/4 cup. I made this cake for fresh sliced strawberries, whip cream, chocolate pudding and shaved white and dark chocolate. It was fabulous!

Phyllo-Wrapped Halibut Fillets with Lemon Scallion Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Amazing! I followed the recipe except to the sauce I added a bit of white wine and some parmesan. Next time I would make a bit more sauce. Served with asparagus, roasted cauliflower and brown basmati rice. A 6 star dinner for sure!

Excellent! I omitted the anchovy, and used 2 cloves instead of 4. And only 1 cup of olive oil. Totally amazing!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
These turned out cake like and really NOT what I was looking for. I made a few adjustments so that was part of the problem. I reduced the sugar to half and used all natural peanut butter so it was way too much flour. I added a bit of milk to thin it out, but it turned out disastrous!

This produces a nice light batter. I added a few spices like paprika, garlic powder and balck pepper to spice it up a bit.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
These tasted amazing warm out of the oven. However, once cooled they were not chewy at all, they were cake like in consistency. I'm wondering if I messed up the recipe? It calls for 3/4 cup butter melted. I measured out 3/4 and then melted it. Maybe I should've melted my butter and then used 3/4 cup of melted butter?? Also this made about 20 large cookies.

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
First time making truffles, turned out fabulous. Reduced the icing sugar to 1 1/4 cups sifted. Also used 1 good quality 50% semi-sweet chocolate bar (3.5 oz) and 1 cup dark 50% cocoa chocolate chips. I split the batch in 2 and added 1 tbsp baileys to one half and 1 tbsp almond extract to the other half. I rolled them in cocoa, unsweetend coconut and ground almonds. To die for!!!
