Cranberry Puffs

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I wish I could give this 6 stars! It was a HUGE hit at my annual "fall" coctail party. Also, I made the wonton part first and froze them on a cookie sheet. I made the "relish" part in the morning. I was able to simply fry them up at the party. So So yummy.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
Yes these are to die for! I doubled muffin recipe and used a single recipe for the topping as suggested. I used my JUMBO muffin pan with an ice cream scoop full in each hole. This yeilded 12 "JUMBO" muffins. Bake time was 20 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
These were great. I cooked for 16 minutes. DO NOT push cookie dough down into the batter like I did, it was too close to the bottom and cooked just a little. Just plop it on top.

Made this the first time as directed. YUMMY! Second time I simply tossed into a pie crust and topped with topping and baked the same amount of time and it was just as good!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
Loved it. Doubled sauce as recommended by other reviews. Tips: Chops should be left out at room temp for 1/2 hour before frying. I put salt & pepper on chops, dredged in flour before pan frying 5 mins each side. Flour helps sauce stick to chop when poured on top.

Great recipe. I am glad to do without all of the MSG and other additives in the ready made packets. Thanks Joanie!

This was a crowd pleaser! The complements were flying. I doubled the sauce and added a tiny bit of red pepper flakes for a zip.

Exactly what I was looking for. I used the small Papered Chef cookie scooper and baked for 8 minutes, which yielded 52. This will be a permanent addition to my Christmas Cookie list.

I served this at a "Girls Party" and it was a hit. I put Triple Sec (Orange flavored liquor)on the side for anyone who wanted to spike it. They said it was awesome with a shot of triple sec.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This was a great recipe. I made it as directed and it was great. The second time I used "Wilton's Butter Flavoring" instead of vanilla and it was amazing! You can get the butter flavoring at any craft store in the cake decorating section. I only used pre made plasticy nasty one before. I will always use this one from now on.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
The most tasty and healthy recipe for egg plant parm! I usually fried with olive oil first. (no saturated fat sure.....but fat non the less and HUGE calories in Olive Oil.) Omit the yolks and use the whites of the eggs only like another reviewer said and splurge your calories and cholesterol on the Cheese.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
PERFECTION! Moist, tasty YUM. I followed other reviews and substituted 1/2 cup oil with 1/2 cup applesauce and used only 2 cups sugar. Using the applesauce instead of oil saves 1200 calories and 140 grams of fat! You girls are geniuses!

Pan Fried Halibut Steak with Light Green Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Great recipe! I omitted lemon due to allergies. Halibut is expensive and not readily available everywhere. Try Cod if you are from New England. (Buy the previosly frozen. Cod can be prone to worms and if frozen the worms leave the fish flesh as it freezes.) Gross but true! When the men come in from fishing,k I always freeze the catch of the day for this reason.
