About this Cook
I am thirteen and I adore baking. I am a type 1 diabetic but that doesn't stop me from cookin with sweets!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking cakes, baking muffins, baking cookies, but I also love cooking dinners. I love pasta so we have pasta. A lot.
My cooking tragedies
One time I was melting butter in a pot and I forgot to put the butter in the pot. I turned to pot on high (by accident) and I smelled a funky smell. I looked at the pot and there was nothing in it. There was a silvery substance from the pot melting. I lifted the pot off the stove to see where it was coming from and the whole bottom of the pot fell onto the floor. Yep. And remember this.... I had just started learning how to cook.

Donut Muffins
This was a nice recipe to make on my b-day. I love baking and so I said to myself, well how about I look for a muffin recipes that has two of my favorite things: muffins and doughnuts! The recipe was very sweet and the recipe said that it made 24 muffins?!? I could only get 12 because that batter was so thick, and that was even after adding more milk. It had way to much nutmeg. I would say that it only needed 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoons of nutmeg. Over all, the recipe was delicious, it was a nice treat. I will make this again, but next time I'll make some adjustments.

Easy Venison Stew
No gamey taste! Instead of using tarragon, I used cinnamon and parsley and severs it on top if some yummy roasted garlic and olive oil couscous!
