Baked Brie with Mushrooms and Almonds

This was delicious! I used sliced portabella and the flavor was great-everyone agreed. Next time will leave the butter out as the top did become too greasy. No need to add extra fat when using brie!

Mall Pretzels

These are very tasty. Couldn't quit eating them! I only had 3 cups of white flour so I ended up using a cup of whole wheat flour. Still tasted great but they probably would be better with all white flour.

Kids didn't like the cream layer at all. All the adults thought it was wonderful. Would have thought it would have been the other way around! Looks fancy in a trifle bowl.

Creamy Guilt-Free Fudge

This is very good fudge and quite easy. Don't know how just using fat free milk makes this guilt free??? I would use a smaller pan next time so it is thicker.

Banana Cake II

This is delicious. We used milk with lemon juice b/c we didn't have sour milk. We also frosted with cream cheese frosting. Yum! We're not even huge banana fans but needed to use the brown ones up!

Cornbread Salad

This is very yummy. I only added 1/2 the amount of onion and it was still too much. Also this makes a lot of salad!!! I would recommend cutting in half unless you have a large group.

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

This was very good. My cook time on low turned into 7 hours. It was very flavorful for such few ingrediants. I didn't think it had enough barley-will use more next time.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

I made these for a party and everyone raved at how delicious they were. I used cheddar cheese b/c that is what I had on hand. I will try with the swiss next time but I am sure with any kind of cheese you choose they are good.

This was terrific. I used the whole wheat flour like others suggested and it turned out fabulous. Topped it with shrimp and diced tomatoes and a guilt free gourmet pizza!
