Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2005
Simple, fast, tastes great. I would say that anyone who does not like this easy recipe, probably does not like black bean soup. I added some fresh ground pepper. The sour cream is key to adding a nice opposite of texture and taste. Check out my picture! :)

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reduce the FAT!!!! This recipe is GREAT, if you are looking for a way to cut down on the fat, try the method I just used, it works perfectly. After the roast is done cooking, allow some time for the broth to cool. Then fill a large ziploc bag with ice. Seal the bag and immerse it in the broth (if the broth is too hot, it will likely melt the bag). The bag will latch onto the fat, after you are done, throw the bag away. Once you have reduced enough fat, put the broth back in the crock pot for 5-10 minutes in order to heat it back up. Give it a try and let me know how it worked for you!

Nonstick pans are a must for this one.. I tried the following fillings: chocolate flakes, bananas and chocolate, honey, strawberry preserves. Chocolate and banana is by far the best.

Chicken Taco Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
I have used a rotis. chicken for this many times, and it is definitely the way to go. It's a pretty sure bet that there won't be any leftovers if you take this to a party.
