Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
Reduce the FAT!!!!
This recipe is GREAT, if you are looking for a way to cut down on the fat, try the method I just used, it works perfectly.
After the roast is done cooking, allow some time for the broth to cool. Then fill a large ziploc bag with ice. Seal the bag and immerse it in the broth (if the broth is too hot, it will likely melt the bag). The bag will latch onto the fat, after you are done, throw the bag away.
Once you have reduced enough fat, put the broth back in the crock pot for 5-10 minutes in order to heat it back up.
