Frozen Margarita Pie

Reviewed: May 6, 2013
This was good. Pretty easy to make and nice taste. Was a hit at a potluck and the first dessert to be gone. I used gluten free pretzels for the crust and did not add the food coloring.

Good. My teenage son really liked them. My younger girls ate them smothered in ketchup.

Steve's Sun Dried Tomato and Asparagus Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
This was just okay. I have been craving quiche lately and made 3 in the last week. This was the most expensive to make and my least favorite. The sun dried tomatoes really overpower the taste of the entire quiche. There is no cheese in this recipe and I think it needs some - goat cheese or feta would fit well with the flavors. Also, the cook time on this quiche was quite long compared to others. The first time I have had to cook the crust first. I won't be making this again.

Leek and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
Seriously delicious and easy. I followed the directions except I used a four cheese blend instead of the Romano because that is what I had. The recipe cooked in the exact amount of time and it looked and tasted amazing.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
Good. My son ate 3 big pieces. I liked it and it was easy enough but I wouldn't make it again. I did change a few things so my enthusiasm might be less because of those changes.. I used garlic powder instead of minced garlic. All of the egg mixture would not fit in the dish and I'm not sure if I mixed the eggs well enough. I used one cup of heavy cream and 1/2 a cup of 2% milk. It took FOREVER to cook. I enjoyed the leftovers more than I did the fresh out of the oven taste.

Sylvia's Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
The sauce was a hit and the cooking process easy. I did mess with the ingredients based on what we had at home. I was almost out of ketchup so just used what I had left - maybe 1/2 a cup? Then added the entire bottle of sweet & spicy BBQ sauce. Didn't have steak sauce or garlic.

So amazing! I highly recommend this with your Thanksgiving or Christmas or Easter dinner. Or anytime you aren't worried about calories really.

So good! Even my kids who didn't want to try it ended up enjoying it and wanting more. They said it was like chili noodles. I saved the recipe and can't wait to make it again!

Good but I prefer regular homemade mashed potatoes with butter and warm milk better.

Savory TMT Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
A pretty expensive flop. I didn't care for it that much. My 9 year old daughter is the only one of my three kids that was willing to eat it on a sandwich. The tahini cost $9 for a jar. The miso was a bit hard to find for awhile in the Asian section and cost $5.

Good. People might be scared off by the taste if they don't know what it is and just got a scoop off a potluck bar.

Chuck Wagon Chow

Husband liked. The kids did not. It might be more a fact that they don't care for the chuck steak then the recipe though.

Could be my fault... I only marinated it for an hour and then grilled. Husband and son liked it. My picky daughters did not.

Marinated Pork Chops

Super easy! My husband and kids loved it. I only marinated it for about an hour. Didn't have worcestershire or lemon juice. Used garlic salt with parsley seasoning instead of parsley and garlic.

Open Face Mozzarella Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
This was good. However, I think I prefer the tomato, basil, mozzarella, oil & vinegar as a salad with a slice of Italian bread on the side. This way it saves heating the oven as well.
