About this Cook
I pledge to never post a picture of frosting (no matter how nice it may look) for a recipe that creates a plain cake.
My cooking tragedies
I spent over a week creating a sourdough starter from only water and flour. When it was finally ready to start making bread, I gave it one last feeding of flour and stored it in the oven to ferment. Then I promptly forgot it was in there and preheated the oven to make blueberry muffins :).

Gluten-Free Moist Chocolate Cake
I was afraid to try this recipe, because 1) I have never made anything GF and 2) I hate quinoa. This cake is SO moist and chocolatey, without the slightest hint of quinoa flavor. It rises a lot in the oven, but then falls. It ends up being about an inch thick, with the texture like a cakey brownie. Make sure to blend up the quinoa very well, so that you don't end up with a chunky cake.

Kettle Corn
This is a treacherous, yet absolutely delicious, snack. Beware of the un-popped kernels that have glued themselves to the popped corn, lying in wait to shatter your teeth. You must also be vigilant and avoid the molten sugar that hasn't cooled enough to solidify yet, lest your tongue be seared. If you are successful in avoiding these pit traps, be prepared for some amaaaazing mouthfuls!

Kofta Kebabs
I used 80% lean ground beef instead of lamb (only because I'm a cheapo). It was absolutely delicious! It was very moist with the high fat content beef, and so flavorful. It is definitely good enough to eat on its own, but would also be good with a dipping sauce. I'm going to make this and bring it to my next party.
