About this Cook
Avid baker & cook. I aspire to learn how to prepare a variety of veggie dishes. Baking and cooking is a great way to connect with people.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Watching and learning from my Grandmother and Dad.
My cooking tragedies
Did not know the oven was heating up about 20 degrees higher than what was selected and the graham cracker crust of the cheesecake I baked for a party was hard as a rock.

Chess Pie III
this pie was not good at all. 1 tablespoon is too much vinegar unless you want the pie to taste tart. Also to say cook for 35 minutes or until golden brown is an understatement. The top will be golden brown, but the pie still is not ready. It was so embarrassing to find out the pie was runny when the people I baked it for cut into it.
