Best Carrot Cake Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
really, this is great cake... but I skip raisins, so it doesn't turn up anyone's nose from the get go... I only lightly sprinkle nuts on top so they are easy to scrape off... my husband thinks all dessert should be "female"...

GREAT!! I did a summer prep- grilled chicken basting with teriyaki last few mins. Placed on microwavable plate Squirted a little ranch , sprinkled on the rest and nuked for a min. Super easy -- little mess--- NO OVEN HEAT!!! We LOVE IT!!!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2002
Really Good Brownies! Making the frosting is too much time, energy and mess for me! Jut get a couple of Hershey Bars and break them up. Put them on top of the brownies right out of the oven. When they start to melt spread the chocolate around. WOW! When they are still warm and gooey they are great! When the chocolate re-sets --they are still to die for!!

Cream Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2002
I agree to fill from top instead of breaking thru the paper. These are wonderful! I made them for my son's birthday treats for school. My husband ate the rest- about three a day until they were gone! Everyone really liked them.

Easy Pizza Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2002
This IS a really good sauce! The first time I made it I followed the ingredients, but the next time I did use a little less water. I also was low on one or two of the spices so I used a tablespoon of pre-mixed Italian seasoning. It turned out just as good!

My Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2002
This is a good recipe, it just needs one thing--MORE BEANS!! I half the recipe for my family, except put a whole can of kidney beans and a can of red beans. It is a very basic chili recipe.

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2001
My husband and sons love this recipe! I have had better luck using sirlion or another type of leaner meat that I don't have to spend so much time getting rid of the fat. This is the best BBQ our family has ever had!

Pasta With Spinach Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2000
We really enjoyed this sauce. In fact I was barely hungry when I sat down to dinner because I tasted it so much while it was cooking! I did have to use fresh spinach because I had no frozen, and I used a little crisp chopped bacon instead of ham. It was VERY good. Can't wait to make it again!
