Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Very tasty - I didn't have any broth so I substituted with milk. Used garlic instead of shallots. Only downfall is that it's very greasy, with the oil. I will use much less oil next time.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

These cookies are good but not exceptional. I've made them before following the exact directions and they were way too sweet. I gave them another shot and made them w/o the cocoa on another occassion and used half the amount of choc. chips and they still turned out OKAY.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Excellent recipe. I used 2-26 ounce spaghetti sauce and no-boil noodles as well. Used light cottage cheese and only .5 lb light cheddar cheese. I used 4 cloves of garlic instead of garlic salt. Covered with foil for 40 minutes and w/o foil for 10.

Maple Apple Crisp

Excellent and light recipe. I used 1/4 cup margarine; added a bit more flour and oats (3/4 cup). I would NOT recommend reducing the amount of maple syrup b/c otherwise the apples will take MUCH longer to cook as there's no liquid to make them soft. I used light maple syrup and used splenda for sugar. Excellent guilt-free recipe. Thank you!

Khoresht Fesenjaan (Chicken with Pomegranate Sauce)

This dish is absolutely amazing! This is supposed to be a very difficult Persian dish to make and it was my first time ever making the dish, but the recipe is so straight-forward and easy to follow. I used eggplant instead of squash because I didn't have squash and I had seen eggplants in other recipes for Fesenjoon and it worked perfectly.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Excellent recipe - I used sugar-subsititute jam, margarine instead of butter and only 1/2 the amt the recipe calls for, and no salt. It was terrific.

Too much salt - turned out too salty. I would have added raisins to sweeten the muffins and reduced the salt (even omitted it). Overall, it was okay.

Basic Crepes

Excellent. I don't have a griddle so I used a non-stick pan instead and worked well. I put chocolate chips and all the fruit I had and my family loved it. Next time I'd replace the choc. chips with icing sugar, to make it more healthy.
