Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
Loved it, the dressing is perfect. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I took it to a family potluck and the only complaint was the raisins. Next time I will used grapes.

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2004
We have a winner!! This could not be easier or quicker and taste as light and delightful! Even my non-liking pineapple son enjoyed it. I served it with light cool whip and strawberries for a very Weight Watcher friendly dessert. Thank you for a very nice recipe!

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
My son says this is the best! Very tasty served with Maple syrup. Reminds me of the Elvis Grilled PB and Banana Sandwich with a French kick. We will be making this one again and again. Thanks Bon for the recipe.

Baked Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
This turns out a nice tasting and moist ham. My husbands comment was that it was not better than my usual way of serving ham, but was equally as good. It is certainly much less work, so we will be using this recipe again. Thanks, Suzanne.

Joy's Prizewinning Trifle

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2004
This is very yummy and looks great! I was worried that it needed a bit more moisture to get the cake soft, but worked out fine. I would not add more than 1/4 cup of milk at most. I used a pound cake because that is what I had on hand. It was very well received and will be made again! Thank for the recipe.

Herbed Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
Very good! The sweet potatoes tasted great done this way. We also liked the white potatoes, parsnips, carrots and pearl onions. We will be enjoying this one often.

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
This is a keeper! Very tasty, but did cut back on the pepper considerably. Glad to have enough left for sandwiches tomorrow. Accompanied the roast with the herbed roasted vegetables on this site. Great combination. Thanks for the recipe.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2003
My family says nummy. I added about 18 soft caramels (chopped in 4 pieces each) over top of the apples. I did decrease the sugar a bit to accomodate the sweetness of the caramels.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2003
My family says we should have this one again. I sauteed some fresh mushrooms and onions in the skillet before adding the sauce ingredients, otherwise followed the recipe as is. For you fellow Weight Watchers this recipe is 5 points per serving. Thanks Nancy.

Grandma Grippin's Brown Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2003
My family loved this pudding and say it is a def. keeper. It was very easy and i had no problems with the sauce being too thin. I may add a wee bit of vanilla to the sauce next time and of course, butter makes everything better! A nice cake-like top with caramel sauce. Yum!

Banana Prune Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2003
These are very good--moist and flavourful. I will def. make again, may try dates instead of prunes but the prunes were fine. Forgot to share the Weight Watcher points! 4 points per muffin. Thanks Lisa.

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2003
We all enjoyed these pancakes and liked that I could work them into my Weight Watchers program--1/6 of a recipe is 3 points, so per/pancake depends on how big you make them. You can have a nice breakfast or light supper and not count too many points. We had them with lean ham.

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
Even though I will make a couple of small changes next time I am still rating it with 5 stars because it truly is delicious. I did find it a bit too sweet (as some have mentioned) but my husband thought it was perfect. The sauce is very thin but by the next day it has thickened up a bit. I must say that the leftovers are very good. I heated them in the microwave on a low setting and they were still tender and juicy. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I will make it many more times with the sugar decreased and perhaps a little corn starch for thickening.

Vegan Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2003
This is very good! I ran out of chili powder, so used a bit less than 1 tblsp. so also went a bit less on the cumin in an attempt to maintain the balance of flavors. Consequently I thought it needed a bit more spice, but my husband thought it was spicy enough. We will definitely be eating this again (likely with a bit more spice). Weight Watchers--4 points per cup is the way it worked out for me.

Pineapple Sheet Cake II

We really liked this cake--not too sweet. It could not be easier to put together. I used it for an adult's birthday cake with Cool Whip on top. It will def. appear again in this household. Weight Watchers---4 points for a good size piece. Enjoy guilt free!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
This is really quite good! It does, however, need a friendly dose of salt and pepper! I thickened the sauce and poured it back over the chops (forgot to take the roast out of the freezer). The chops were tender and moist. I made this again with a loin roast and it is better with the roast as per recipe. Don't forget the salt and pepper.

Groovie Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2003
This is so good it is almost sinful!! I used frozen blueberries instead of strawberries, but when I have strawberries I will also try those. My husband does not like blueberries or yogurt and had 2 glasses--what he doesn't know won't hurt him I guess! Thanks for the recipe.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
These turned out to be very tasty. I used a healthy 2 1/2 cups of rice krispies. I think it may be better with milk chocolate, but got no complaints as is!

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
OK, this is a 6 point recipe! WOOHOO!! I have been baking today to take slices to a wedding buffet. I am dieting and this is the ONE that I decided I would taste and I think I made a very good choice. Now I have to get it into the freezer before I get back at it. Try it, it is well worth the minimal effort it requires.
