Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2003
My family says we should have this one again. I sauteed some fresh mushrooms and onions in the skillet before adding the sauce ingredients, otherwise followed the recipe as is. For you fellow Weight Watchers this recipe is 5 points per serving. Thanks Nancy.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2003
My family says nummy. I added about 18 soft caramels (chopped in 4 pieces each) over top of the apples. I did decrease the sugar a bit to accomodate the sweetness of the caramels.

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
This is a keeper! Very tasty, but did cut back on the pepper considerably. Glad to have enough left for sandwiches tomorrow. Accompanied the roast with the herbed roasted vegetables on this site. Great combination. Thanks for the recipe.

Herbed Roasted Vegetables

Very good! The sweet potatoes tasted great done this way. We also liked the white potatoes, parsnips, carrots and pearl onions. We will be enjoying this one often.

Scalloped Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
Everyone at my table ate some of this dish (even the non-cabbage eaters). Some thought it was ok and some thought it made cabbage tasty. I will try it again using a smaller cabbage so that there is more cheese sauce. I liked it---but then I like cabbage! :0)

Baked Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
This turns out a nice tasting and moist ham. My husbands comment was that it was not better than my usual way of serving ham, but was equally as good. It is certainly much less work, so we will be using this recipe again. Thanks, Suzanne.

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
My son says this is the best! Very tasty served with Maple syrup. Reminds me of the Elvis Grilled PB and Banana Sandwich with a French kick. We will be making this one again and again. Thanks Bon for the recipe.

I didn't really enjoy this, but my family gave it a thumbs up so gave a 4-star rating.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
This is a very tasty and easy dessert. I made my own apple filling as I don't care for canned. I did not use very much sugar in the filling (3 scant tbls. for 6 apples). I decreased the white sugar in the sauce to about 1/3 cup as well as the water to about 1/3 cup. The sauce turned out very yummy.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2002
This is sooooo good. Comments here say it is my best fudge ever! I did not have any semi-sweet chips so used all milk choc. chips and cannot imagine it being any better. It is sweet, but that is what fudge is meant to be in my opinion. It is not a diet food, but this is not a diet season! I will make it again, no question.

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
This recipe was quite good. I thought the taste improved the second day. I thought it had a salty taste and would decrease the amount of ranch dressing somewhat.

Mock Peanut Brittle

This is OK, but certainly nothing special. It does not taste at all like peanut brittle to me.

Ham and Cheese Omelet Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2002
We enjoyed this for Christmas brunch. I did make a few small changes---bacon instead of ham, a mixture of old cheddar and swiss cheese and I included a few green onions. It was very tasty.

Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2002
This is very tasty, very easy and VERY rich. I followed the recipe with the exception that I added some pepper and garlic salt. I did not have a problem with the coating staying on the chicken. It's a keeper! Thanks.

Yummie!! I have made a similar recipe for years, but the addition of the garlic and onion really enhances this dish. I will never make it any other way! Thank you for the recipe.

Prime Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2002
This is an excellent recipe! I was a bit afraid of ruining an expensive cut of meat. Not a chance--everyone loved it. It was still rare at 2 hours, so gave it another 1/2 hour--tender, juicy and still some rare for those that like rare and medium to medium well for others. We will be having this one again! Thanks so much.
