Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
Loved it, the dressing is perfect. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I took it to a family potluck and the only complaint was the raisins. Next time I will used grapes.

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
Even though I will make a couple of small changes next time I am still rating it with 5 stars because it truly is delicious. I did find it a bit too sweet (as some have mentioned) but my husband thought it was perfect. The sauce is very thin but by the next day it has thickened up a bit. I must say that the leftovers are very good. I heated them in the microwave on a low setting and they were still tender and juicy. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I will make it many more times with the sugar decreased and perhaps a little corn starch for thickening.

Tomato Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
This is really good. I did add a bay leaf, upped the chicken broth to 2 cups, and a tsp. of Kosher salt. Other than than I kept the recipe as is. It is very healthy and filling. It will be repeated again and again. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
This is a lovely soft bun. We like a gooier (is that a word?) filling. I guess closer to a sticky bun. I made a half recipe as there are only 3 of us. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I used the icing on a different cake. It was good, not perfect but good. I actually liked the icing better the next day.

Simple Maple Syrup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
It couldn't get much easier than this and it tasted very nice. The hot syrup over waffles was very good. I did use half brown and half white sugar. I added a glug of corn syrup as suggested, some vanilla (didn't have maple flavouring) and a couple of tblsp. of butter. I did boil it for a couple of minutes and did not have a problem with it crystalizing (we ate it all before it had a chance).

Amish Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
Excellent, easy to make and easier to eat. The crust (when warm) has a lovely sweet taste. It tastes fine when cooled but loses the sweetness. I have a loaf in the bread maker as I type this. I am going to check and see if Sherry Ann has posted a multigrain recipe for the bread maker that is this quick to make. Thanks for the recipe.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
Another wonderful prime rib recipe. It was very easy and turned out a tender roast. The house smelled of garlic and the roast tasted wonderful. I did decrease the thyme and salt to 1 tsp. each.

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
This cake is dense and quite heavy but oh, so chocolaty and yummy. I iced it with a chocolate fudge icing and the whole thing got rave reviews at our birthday table! Just a note--when the recipe says that the batter will be thin it actually is thin enough that it could be a drink. I hesitated a moment at that point but took the risk and am glad that I did.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2005
These turned out very well, indeed! I can already see that I am going to have a hard time staying away from them. I don't think that I will put them in my Weight Watcher Friendly cookbook. BUT, I will be making them again. I used chocolate pudding and a mixture of milk choc. chips and semisweet chips. Better get them in the freezer!!

Potato Casserole II

This is wonderful. I have tried hash brown casserole before and never been thrilled with it. My family loved this and it will be on our table again. I did add an extra can of mushroom soup and glad I did. Thanks, Bea

Easy and Delicious Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2005
This was not my favorite. After 1 hour it was dry on the bottom and the rice wasn't done but I found it kind of mushy after 90 minutes. I wonder if the soup mixture should be stirred into the rice before adding the chicken. I topped it with cheddar cheese (saved it, I think). However, that said, my husband who doesn't like rice enjoyed it! Who knows! My son loved it. I am the one that gets the final rating so I am going with 3 stars.

Yummy Pork Chops

While this is not sensational it is tasty and quick. I used 4 chops and cut the sauce in half. I will make it again but it won't be appearing frequently.

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2004
These are not as flavourful as those yummy fat-filled muffins, but are much healthier. They are tasty and best of all---3 points if you make them into 11 or 12 muffins. I followed some previous suggestions and used 1/2 brown sugar as well as vanilla, cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg. I will definately be making them again. Thanks for the recipe.
