Best Oven Baked French Toast
Just finished this! Made a half batch and it was good enough to try again. I added a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice over the cinnamon.....otherwise made as directed. The next time, as per others, I will add a bit more milk and an extra egg, as the egg/milk mixture was somewhat scant. Flavor was very good though. Applesauce sounds like a great addition!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie
I made this in 2 round cake pans and baked for 20 mins....lined the pans with circles of parchment. Followed the recipe exactly otherwise. They turned out well, and I sent one of them next door to the neighbors who help shovel my walk when it snows. Thanks for a very good recipe.

Baking Powder Biscuits I
This is the same recipe my mom used for years. We only had these in Strawberry Shortcake though!!! Growing up, we would get fresh strawberries, slice and sugar them to taste, then Mom would make batch of these biscuits and we'd take them hot out of the oven, tear them to pieces in a bowl, ladle strawberries over them, and douse the whole thing with a little cold milk. I didn't know any other strawberry shortcake existed until I was an adult! I still prefer it this way, although I add whipped cream now....LOL
