Honey Wheat Bread II

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
Great bread! I made the dough in my bread machine and then baked it in the oven so it would have a more natural shape. Light, fluffy and tasty!. My 3 year old especially enjoyed it as toast for breakfast. If I were to make it for sandwiches, I would probably cut down the honey by a little bit. It was a little more sweet than I expected. Thanks for the recipe. We will make it again soon. One other thing, the fact it did not include eggs is a huge plus for our family as my son is allergic to them. Thanks!

Summertime Coleslaw

Not bad not the best. Maybe could use some onion. I'll stick with "Restaurant Style Coleslaw I" from this site.

Yummy Yellow Taters

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
I've made these a few times... The first time I added the food coloring and they were pretty yellow. I omit the food coloring just because, who needs it? The potatoes are great and flavorful. I like that you boil the aromatics with the potatoes just makes prep easier. Will continue to make. Thanks!

Great! Loved this! The chives really make ordinary garlic bread special and pretty! Will make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
Made these without the bacon. They were pretty good but a little dry. The best part about these is you can make them ahead of time and just pop in the oven when ready to eat. Will make again. Thanks

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Very good. Next time I'll use a little less sugar. Definitely better the next day. We used this on Reubens. Thanks for the recipe. Also, I've never used bagged slaw before and it was fine and easy.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

These were good however, I thought something was missing. Not bad at all but just nachos with some chicken added. I will marinade the chicken next time. Thanks.

Grilled Radishes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
Very good. I'm surprised how much more mellow flavored they get when cooked. I bought a bunch of raddishes for a salad and had the rest left over so I made these. Will do that from now on. Thanks!

Nana's Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
We made this last week. The carrot was a great idea! My go-to recipe includes brown sugar so the carrot was a great replacement! I also like that all the aromatics were chopped so fine in the food processor that I think the flavor distributed better than usual just chopped ones. We found this sauce much more rich than our sauce that we make. I guess because ours calls for equal parts water to tomato products. We have some in the freezer that I plan to use for lasagna. Thanks for the recipe. It will be hard to choose which one to make in the future... yours or mine!!!

Pad Kee Mao

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe. After searching for a few weeks and going to several stores, I never did find "thick soy sauce". I used a ginger flavored soy that had molasses and sugar in it. Also, I did add julienned carrots and red bell peppers. Not much just enough for color. Thanks for the recipe. Will make again. I'll be looking for "thick soy" the next trip out of the boonies...

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
We love these meatballs! We've been making them for over a year now and they are perfect for our family as my son is allergic to eggs and this is one of the only recipes I've found that doesn't include eggs. I decrease the pepper flakes to just a pinch since my three year old is eating them. They have a nice flavor compared to a lot of other meatballs I've tried that seem rather bland. Thanks for the recipe, LTH!

Quick easy and tasty little snack. Great way to use up leftover tortillas. My three year old likes to make them himself.

German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
This was very good, fairly quick and very easy to make. I agree to increase the sauce. The only part I wouldn't increase is the sugar. A little too sweet... I made the four potatoes as called for in the recipe for four servings but then made the sauce for 6 servings.. increased the bacon to 6 servings as well. Thanks for the recipe. I will surely make this again!

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

I was feeling lazy and wanted a recipe that could be prepared ahead so I chose this one. It was probably done after 3 hours. The flavor was good. Thanks for the recipe.

Flounder Mediterranean

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
The sauce for this was fantastic! So flavorful and fresh tasting. My New Year's resolution for this year is to eat and try to like fish. This was the first recipe I tried. Although I loved the flavor of this dish, I was not fond of the texture of the Flounder. Since this is a personal problem, I gave it 5 stars!

Loved this. I omitted the salt as the parm is plenty salty. Next time I'll only use about a TBS of oil. Very good. Thanks for the recipe!

Roast Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
I alway thought that I hated, loathed, dispised, pork roast. My husband bought one and I grudgingly prepared it using this recipe. I had planned to just eat side dishes for dinner. After making a scene like a little child, I reluctantly tried a bite and to my surprise, I LOVED it! So tender and flavorful. Thanks so much for the recipe! Next time I will cut the sugar in half but it was still fantastic the way it is.

Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
These came out really good! I think next time I'll cut the butter down a bit just to make them more healthy. Thanks for a cookie recipe that does not include eggs. That is a big plus in our house as my son is allergic.
