Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
These were really good. I wasn't sure about the lemon but it was nice, not overpowering at all. The garlic didn't really shine through though. Overall we were pleased with these potatoes but have other favorite recipes we will make more often. Thanks for the recipe.

Succulent Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
This was very good. Baked it at 425 for 20 minutes then turned the temp down to 375 for 20 minutes per pound as another reviewer suggested. It came out great! We could taste the herbs and lemon. Thanks for a great recipe!

Savory Baby Bok Choy

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
This was OK. My husband liked it lot. Me, not so much. I found it a little bit bitter. I did follow exact ingredients and instructions. Wasn't bad but not smothing I'm going to rush to make again. Thanks.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
These certainly were fluffy! Even the batter was kinda fluffy. However, they were also dry and somewhat bland for us.

White Chip Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
These came out really well. I halved the recipe but added the whole egg and they were fine. Love the orange flavor in these as it was fairly subtle. Will certainly make again!

Grilled Chipotle Chorizo Chicken Sausage & Shrimp Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
These were good. The marinade only stood out for us on the shrimp not so much on the sausage. I like the idea if giving the vegetables a quick cook ahead of time really made them perfectly done. My son thought the sausage was a bit "chewy" but he's only five and tends to have to critique anything new. Overall a pretty good recipe.

Cheese-Stuffed Giant Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
First of all I subbed yellow onion for the green onion because that is what I had on hand. Other than that followed the recipe. These tasted OK but a little more bland than I was expecting since the "recipe starter" had such a stong smell. Not a bad smell just stong. I don't think the cheese is really needed here. In our opinion it did little to nothing to add any flavor. Pretty much just adds more fat and calories. Maybe another type of cheese might work well the imparts a stronger flavor to the meatloaves. The first night we had these we added the extra sauce but the next night we left it off as it just didn't appeal to us. I won't make these again. I might make mini meatloaves in a muffin tin though as my five year old enjoyed having his own little loaf. Also, a recipe using a "recipe starter", I would think would appeal more for a quick, use what's on hand dinner. I think most cooks using this product probably won't have green onion around as it's usually something one buys occasionally for a certain recipe. I would recommend changing the ingredient list to a more versatile onion that one is more likely to have on hand and has a stronger flavor.

Grilled Vegetable Salad with Fresh Herb Vinaigrette

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
This was just delicious! I did mine a little differently. I just roasted my veggies in a grill pan instead of directly on the girl. Also, I only had regular balsamic but a good quality one. Other than that no changes. We loved this! Thanks for the recipe. We will make it many more times!

Mom's Incredible Spinach Gratin

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
So Good! I used fresh spinach (4 20 oz. bags). I ddeda bit more parm to the sauce nd little more Gruyere to the top (thought it needed more fat ;)). This was just absolutely fantastic! Bought it to a gathering and sat there secretly hoping there would be some left to bring home. Unfortunately there wasn't. I'll have to find a special occasion to make some more soon as the dish was emptied. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Quinoa, Beet, and Arugula Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
Very good! We enjoyed this salad. Used Agave, about a tsp. Used regular quinoa as I didn't have red and cut the oil in half. Also, did't use any goat cheese. The flavors went very well together. Will make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
Loved this soup! I used more garlic, doubled the spices, 28 oz diced tomatoes, 1/2 veggie broth 1/2 water and subbed kale for the spinach and way more than called for. Also, added a parm-regg rind as it was simmering. Sooo, good! I know, alot of changes but I really only used the recipe as a starting point. Thanks so much!

Sensational! I omitted a few things that I didn't have on hand, cabbage, potato and the bread.... instead of parm on top, when it was simmering I added a parm-regg rind. Took it out before serving of course... SOOO good! I can't wait to make it with the cabbage bread! Thanks for the recipe it was absolutely delicious!

My five year old made this with a little help measuring and using the oven. Tasted pretty good. Very dense though. But he had fun and made his own bread. Neat little recipe, thanks!

Perfect Pita Chips

These turned out well. However, I really don't think, at least for our tatses that the garlic salt was needed. The kosher salt and garlic powder were plenty. Thanks for the recipe.

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
We though these would taste more like rice rispy treats but the just didn't. They were ok but way too sweet. Maybe a little vanilla would help. We won't make these again. Too sweet and greasy.
