Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
Not exactly gourmet but not bad either. I tossed it with some linguini, chopped chicken breast and a bag of frozen veggies and we had dinner in 20 mins. Subbed minced garlic for garlic powder and decreased milk to 1 1/2 cups.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
These things look cute but that's about it! The texture is like raw, goopy/grainy cake mix dipped in chocolate. Once you bite through the yummy chocolate shell, you get to a mushy center. :/ No one in the house like these and I am so upset that I wasted my very expensive chocolate to dip them in! I will never make these again.

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
I made a few adjustments after reading most of the reviews and the end result was delicious! I used 6 cloves of garlic just because we LOVE garlic. Also added two julienned carrots to the chicken/garlic. I mixed 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinager, 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon sugar in a small bowl and added it to the chicken mix. For the last few minutes of cooking I added 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger and the green onion. It was a big hit!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2011
Followed the recipe exactly with the exception of subbing brown sugar for the white sugar. They were delicious! I used a standard ice cream scoop to fill the muffin tins and I got 15 muffins out of it.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Great recipe! I didn't even bother to thaw the chicken breasts, just threw them in frozen and they turned out great. I took the advice of other reviewers and cut the maple syrup to 1/4 cup, added a cup of bbq sauce and half an onion, sliced. I also added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch during the last hour of cooking to thicken up the sauce.

Chicken Scarpariello

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
This wasn't for me. I had to make many changes to get the sauce to a good flavor and consistancy. Too many changes to list here. There are so many positive reviews I have to believe that I misread the recipe. I will not be making this again.

Apple Oatmeal Cookies II

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
Great cake like cookie. I added 1/2 cup brown sugar and used applesauce instead of the apple and increased flour to 1 cup. Also used 1 tablespoon of batter instead of a teaspoon. They taste just like muffin tops!

This is very tasty. I added chopped onions, bell pepper, garlic, chopped jalapeno, cumin and chili powder to the ground beef as it cooked. Also added a bit more cheese to the top. I got lots of compliments on it, even got compliments on the left overs :)
