Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
Turned out great. Double the ham and definitely use half of the pepper it calls for. I also added cheese to the roux before I poured it into the pot. I had some fresh rosemary on hand and tossed it in and added some garlic powder per other reviewers. A hit with the whole family!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
This was divine!! I did as other reviewers had. I added cinnamon and vanilla to the topping, as well as 1 1/2 the recipe for the top. I also cut the sugar by almost 1/2 and it didnt take but 20 min. to bake. We will be making this again and again.

Ridiculously simple with great results. After shredding I just added some store-bought bbq sauce. Served them on Hawaiin rolls like little sliders. Great for feeding a large crowd when company comes.

Ultimate Double Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
I have been looking for a cookie to rival the one at the Paradise Bakery (little chippers.) These are it! Very fudgy, great appearance, and addictive. I do like some kind of crunch cookies like this, not just dough. So, I added white chocolate chips to some and some toffee chips to some with good results. They were so chocolatey I was concerned about adding chocolate chips. But it works fine too! Enjoy.

Easy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
I grew up going to the county fair every summer. The big draw at the fair was the FFA's homemade ice cream. This is identical!!! It is so good, I cant believe how simple it is. You must try it, just as it is!

Wow this was good. Very rich though. I think next time it will be half and half. The taste will be just as good, just wont be as thick going down! A keeper.

Jam Kolaches

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
My husbands Czech grandma made him these as a kid. I surprised him for his bday with them. I have such a sweet tooth, I couldnt imagine no sugar in the dough. So I replaced about 1/4 cup of the flour with powdered sugar. Also a big pinch of salt to balance it all out. He loved them!

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
Such a hit! Wonderful. Used 1/2 tsp salt in topping and it was perfect. Also do not like nuts, so added a cup of butterscotch chips instead for the topping. Only used 1/4 tsp ginger per personal taste.

Couldnt be simpler. I too put my Reese cups in the fridge to chill before pressing them into the hot dough. I also doubled the recipe and used my smallest cookie scoop.
