Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
I made this recipe for a playdate and everyone loved it. It has a great flavor and is so easy to make. I used butter instead of shortening, a mixture of strawberries and blueberries based on what I had in the house, and it took almost 45 minutes to cook through in the middle. I will be making this one again and again.

Coconut Kugel

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I have not had Kugel before so I made this per the recipe but used wide noodles instead of fine and it was really good. The noodles were tender and the dish had just the right amount of sweetness.

I added 1/3 cup vodka, leaving the rest of the ingredients the same and my family loves this recipe. We make it all the time.

Orange Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
These muffins are very moist and flavorful. I made them in a mini muffin tin and baked them for 10 minutes. I like the look of the orange zest when you bite into them. I will make these again and again.

Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
This frosting is so good. I did not find the almond flavor too overpowering at all. I used it on the banana bar recipe found on this site. Delicious.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This was delicious! My whole family gobbled it up and wanted more. The directions weren't clear on making the garlic infused oil so I looked somewhere else and found a recipe to bring the oil to medium heat and add garlic for 3 - 5 minutes. Take the oil off the heat and let it sit until cool. Then cover for an hour to infuse before using. WE will make this recipe over and over again.

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
I made 1/2 this recipe today (still using a 9 inch springform pan) and it was excellent. Took about 30 min in the oven and I coated the chocolate chips in flour to keep them from sinking to the bottom. Will definately make this again and again.

Parmesan Puffs

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2001
This is an excellent recipe. I definately need to double or triple the batch next time. I didn't have any problems with the milk curdling(I used skim milk) and thought that the recipe was very easy to make.
