Mediterranean Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
15 min was too long but my family loved the flavor of the fish. I made it just as the recipe said.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This was delicious! My whole family gobbled it up and wanted more. The directions weren't clear on making the garlic infused oil so I looked somewhere else and found a recipe to bring the oil to medium heat and add garlic for 3 - 5 minutes. Take the oil off the heat and let it sit until cool. Then cover for an hour to infuse before using. WE will make this recipe over and over again.

Sweet Potato Souffle

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
My husbnd who doesn't like sweet potatoes this, so that is all I need to make this again. The dish tastes more like a dessert than a veggie so I won't make this a staple recipe but it is a great treat every once in awhile

This is a really good, easy recipe. Perfect way to use up some cream cheese I had in the refrigerator and serve a tasty snack to some friends.

I thought this was a very good recipe and even my husband who doesn't like spinach enjoyed it. The sauce is very light.

Tarragon Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This was a very good recipe. I doubled the sauce and added onions, carrots, and broccoli to the bottom of teh crockpot before adding the chicken so my vegetables would be done with the sauce.

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
I made 1/2 this recipe today (still using a 9 inch springform pan) and it was excellent. Took about 30 min in the oven and I coated the chocolate chips in flour to keep them from sinking to the bottom. Will definately make this again and again.

Cream Cheese Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
These are good cookies that have a nice cream cheese flavor as long as you don't overbake them. I left out the pecans because of personal preference but all the other ingredients were the same. The bake time listed is way too long for 1/4 inch cookies. 10 minutes was perfect.

Ginger Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
The bars were moist and flavorful. I swapped out the shortening for butter but left all of the other ingredients the same. I used a 9 x 13 pan (which I greased and floured to aid in getting the bars out based on descriptions that this recipe is cake like) because I didn’t have a 10 x 15 pan. Since I used a different pan size the bars cooked for 25 minutes. I put the pan on a cooling rack for 15 minutes and then removed the the bars from the pan and let cool directly on the rack the rest of the way.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
I made this recipe for a playdate and everyone loved it. It has a great flavor and is so easy to make. I used butter instead of shortening, a mixture of strawberries and blueberries based on what I had in the house, and it took almost 45 minutes to cook through in the middle. I will be making this one again and again.

Coconut Kugel

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I have not had Kugel before so I made this per the recipe but used wide noodles instead of fine and it was really good. The noodles were tender and the dish had just the right amount of sweetness.

Orange Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
These muffins are very moist and flavorful. I made them in a mini muffin tin and baked them for 10 minutes. I like the look of the orange zest when you bite into them. I will make these again and again.

Confetti Spaghetti

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
I thought this recipe had a good flavor. I added carrots, mushrooms, and celery as well because this seemed like a good recipe to sneak veggies in for my family. There isn't a lot of sauce, so I would decrease the amount of pasta next time, but overall will make this again.

Meatloaf Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I made these and added some grated carrots to the meatloaf. All other ingredients the same. I would recommend only filling the muffin tins to the top, that helps control the amount of grease that "pools". This resulted in a very moist meatloaf with the perfect crispiness on the outside. I will make these again and again.

This frosting is so good. I did not find the almond flavor too overpowering at all. I used it on the banana bar recipe found on this site. Delicious.

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This recipe is so easy and tastes much better than store bought. I used the frosting recipe from clone of a cinnabon in addition to the carmel sauce for extra indulgence. These cinnamon rolls also freeze well.

Chicken and Pea Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Not a lot of flavor, but it was an easy recipe to make with ingredients I had on hand (used a chicken breast instead of canned chicken).
