Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
OK, I followed everything exactly, and read all the reviews that said these were great. NOT SO MUCH I chilled the dough, followed instructions exactly and these had no flavor at all. I didn't even finish baking them. I'm in search of a new chocolate cookie. Don't waste your time with this, they aren't worth it

Rich-a-licious Sour Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I love this cake! It is quite heavy, but as a pound cake should be. Great flavor and you can serve it a million ways. I have made holes with a straw and poured sugar-free pudding of many flavors over the cake. Yummy

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2007
This was great.I made a few changes as suggested by other reviews..I used 1.5 cups of 1/2 and 1/2 and 1.5 cups of milk. I used red peppers instead of green because of personal taste. I used more shrimp and scallops and left the fish out altogether. I also generously added old bay seasoning and garlic salt to the water for the seafood to boil in. Left overs freeze great in ziploc bags. To reheat, boil some water and place bag in water until hot. Yum-mo.This was great and make a bunch. Thanks for sharing.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
This is great! I have made these several times and they always turn out great. Make sure you add the vanilla...it makes a big difference. Also, I have made these with Splenda for Baking and it is great (I use 3/4 cup) Either way, these are great. Thanks for the recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2006
This has to be the easiest and cheapest way to make your own alfredo sauce and it tastes great! I did make some changes: I used an Italian blend of shreadded cheese instead of just grated parm, added ALOT of minced garlic(because my family loves garlic) and I needed more milk probably due to the shreadded cheese. It was wonderful!! My husband told me to never buy jar sauce again, just make this. Thank you for sharing!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
This is a great recipe. I did follow some of the others suggestions and lowered the oven temp to 340 degrees F and I baked them for 16 min exactly. Perfect crunch on the outside with nice and soft on the inside. My dough did look very dry, so I added 3 teaspoons of milk and kneaded it for a bit with my hands. Great recipe, really good cookie. My youngest daughter (10) and I are still baking them. Thanks for sharing!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
This was my first time making fudge and it turned out great. I was a little worried when I was pouring into the pan, because it looked like it was going to be crumbly. I put it in the fridge for a couple of hours and cut it and my family loved it. Great gift idea for the holiday as well. Thanks for sharing!

Baked Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2005
Pretty good recipe...I think next time I may try lighty salting the cheese before the breading process...see if it will draw some moisture out. We used Italian bread crumbs in place of the corn flakes and deep fried them instead of baking. (gotta have the grease:) Good recipe Lynda, thank you for sharing.

Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2005
This was excellent. All three of my girls are extremely picky eaters and they loved it. We did make some modifications.... I used 2 rolls of cresents, one on top and one on bottom, and pinched the sides together. Instead of shreaded cheese, we used velveeta. The sauce mixture we were a little scared of because it doesn't look that appealing in the bowl, but worked out great. This would be a great recipe for someone with a home daycare, I think the kids would love it and its pretty inexpensive to make. Thanks for the great recipe Amy :)

Broccoli and Carrot Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
This is a great recipe. My 9 yr old is a very picky eater and she loved it. Next time I will add some spinach and maybe some alfredo sauce to jazz it up a bit. I recommended this to anyone who wants to step away from red meat and eat fresh veggies for a change.
