About this Cook
Wife to a wonderful man and Mom to 3 great kids and Nana to 2 grandsons.
My favorite things to cook
old family recipes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner and doing the "special" steps to the turkey. (shhhh can't tell family secret:))
My cooking triumphs
I finally made no bake cookies that actually kept their cookie shape. For years my kids actually thought you ate them out of a bowl with a spoon. (sad I know, but funny:)
My cooking tragedies
I was trying to create something different for dinner using my crockpot, and it was so bad, when I went to serve, my spoon broke because it was so thick and nasty. We ordered Papa Johns!

Baked Seafood Au Gratin
This was great.I made a few changes as suggested by other reviews..I used 1.5 cups of 1/2 and 1/2 and 1.5 cups of milk. I used red peppers instead of green because of personal taste. I used more shrimp and scallops and left the fish out altogether. I also generously added old bay seasoning and garlic salt to the water for the seafood to boil in. Left overs freeze great in ziploc bags. To reheat, boil some water and place bag in water until hot. Yum-mo.This was great and make a bunch. Thanks for sharing.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
This is great! I have made these several times and they always turn out great. Make sure you add the makes a big difference. Also, I have made these with Splenda for Baking and it is great (I use 3/4 cup) Either way, these are great. Thanks for the recipe!
