Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2013
Prep time for me was longer than 20 minutes. Cooked this on low for 8-9 hours. Came out very good. My kids gobbled it up and asked for seconds. I'll make this again.

Parmesan Tomatoes

Very good! Next time I will slice the tomatoes a little thicker and maybe use some fresh basil.

Kalbi (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2013
I will add a little more sugar next time just because I'd like them a little sweeter. This recipe is delicious and definitely a keeper!

Mom's Spaghetti Bolognese

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
A little too sweet for me. I had to add a little vinegar to balance it out. Next time I make this, I will taste it before adding the sugar. I might add only 1 teaspoon of sugar or maybe none at all. Otherwise, I still give this recipe maximum stars because it was absolutely delicious! My whole family loved it and are asking for it again. It's a keeper.

Beer-Boiled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I used 3 lbs of the biggest shrimp I could find. Used 1 1/2 sticks of butter, and 24 ounces of Budweiser. Added 4 chopped garlic cloves, 1 1/2 tbs of Old Bay and 1 tbs of red crushed pepper. I garnished the bowls with a little fresh chopped parsley. Served it with crusty french bread. Looked beautiful and tasted de-licious! My husband raved and raved- he wouldn't shut up.

Potato Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Followed the directions except for all the frying oil. I fried the tacos in very little oil...just enough to get them brown and a little crunchy. These are just okay, nothing special.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
Instead of 2 cans of kidney beans, I used 1 can of kidney and 1 can of white canneloni beans. I added a can of corn and a can of stewed diced tomatoes. It's absolutely delicious and probably the best chili I have ever had!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
Soooooo good! Not only did I love this, but so did my husband, tween, and preschooler. I made the following changes: After baking 25 minutes, I took the bundles and grilled them on my gas grill for about 3 minutes on each side. I removed them, and drizzled leftover butter-sugar sauce from the earlier pan over the bundles right before serving. I will definitely make this one again!

Awesome! Very simple and kid friendly. I added salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. I will continue making my turkey meatballs this easy way!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
The ONLY changes I made were to cut the meat into bite size pieces, and I used fresh sliced mushrooms (instead of canned) which I sauted in butter. This recipe is amazing and delicious! Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2005
If you like curry, you have to try this! I made this for dinner last night- loved it and my husband can't stop talking about it! I made just a few changes: skipped the tomato sauce, added just a bit more curry powder, added potatoes and carrots. I will definitely make this again!
