Spicy Shrimp and Red Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2014
Delicious spicy dish! I left out the celery (I didn't have any on hand) and the water. Served it over rice. I also added sliced turkey sausage links and more spices (cayenne & red pepper). Tasted like something you'd find served in a fine New Orleans restaurant. We all loved it! Next time I'm going to double the recipe and freeze half, like somebody else here suggested.

Loved this dish. The balsamic vinegar gave it a delicious, sweet taste. I'll definitely be making this again.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2014
Well, it was easy to make, but I didn't care for it after it was done. However, it did taste better the second day, and I used it to make a chicken salad, which gave the salad an interesting (good interesting) taste.

Excellent recipe! I pretty much followed it exactly, and my husband said it was the best chicken dish I've made so far.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2014
Great recipe! I used fresh tomatoes, but I also added a can of Italian-style stewed tomatoes to make it a little juicier. I find that cooking basil makes it lose its flavor, so I added the basil after cooking, along with the Parmesan cheese.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2014
I substituted Italian dressing with Sweet Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, added an onion, and I also slowly added a little corn starch when it was almost done to thicken it up (otherwise it would've been too runny). Served on Ciabatta bread. Absolutely wonderful!

Raspberry Walnut Baked Brie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2014
I took the suggestion of others and made it with mini phyllo (aka fillo) cups instead. Great idea! Everybody loved them. This is a recipe I'll definitely be making many more times. It's so quick and easy. Loved it!
