Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2005
Delicious! I made a few changes that others suggested. Added a dash of white cooking wine and a little chicken broth. Also, cooked the chicken in the soup from the start. I used the whole packet of dressing mix and it wasn't too salty for me or my husband.

Perfect crepe recipe! I made these tonight, spread on some Nutella, rolled them up and they were delicious!

Dumplings and Cocky's Joy (Caramel Sauce)

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
It's quite possible that I did something wrong when making this recipe, but it turned out horribly. The sauce was watery and the "dumplings" were very hard.

Kerry's French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2005
Really sweet and good. I made the mistake of topping it off with caramel sauce, which made it too sweet and rich for my taste. But the recipe is quite tasty.

Egg Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
Best casserole I've had! I replaced saltines with Ritz and cream of mushroom with cream of chicken, and used chicken breasts cut up and sauteed with garlic powder and Mrs. Dash.

Chicken Supreme III

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2005
Pretty good. I made some changes to make the recipe more to my liking. I didn't use onion. Instead cooked chicken with onion salt and Mrs. Dash. Also cut butter back to 1/4 cup. Good suggestion.

Chicken Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2005
Very good. I made a few changes. I used American cheese, as recommended by others, but it wouldn't melt. I will probably use shredded chedder next time. I also didn't use onions. I used onion salt and Mrs. Dash to cook the chicken instead. Used sourdough bread for the topping and that was very good. Will definitely make again.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2005
A wonderful cake! I even used light sour cream and light margarine instead of butter and it still turned out great. I also doubled the topping/filling, as others suggested, and added oats, although that step may not be to everyone's liking. I also added nutmeg to the topping/filling mixture.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2005
Delicious! The sauce really does pull it all together. My husband, who is not a big fan of apples, still loved this recipe.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2005
I followed the recipe exactly, before reading the reviews. I think it could have been a four-star recipe if I'd added a can of cheese soup along with the cream of chicken. Also, more bread in the topping and a little garlic powder to season the chicken would make this better. I will try it again, but with those changes.
