Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
Made this for a large gathering everyone brought a meatless dish. Left out the mushrooms but, added 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, 8 oz cream cheese and 8 oz sharp cheddar. It turned out great.

Sugar Snap Pea and Berry Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
This is a very recipe and everyone at our party gobble it up. When I smashed the raspberries I did not get to much juice. I added about 1 tablespoon of Raspberry Walnut vinegarette I had on hand too. I also sprinlked some sliced almonds on top. Yum will make again for sure.

This turned out great and used this seasoning to make a Taco dip that called for a packet of Taco seasoning. Thanks for sharing.

It sounded good but, I will probably not make it again. I thought the spices were a little too much.

Marcia's Famous Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I followed the recipe exact and it did not turn out like the picture. My vanilla pudding went to the bottom and when flipping it over it looked like white cake dough. It appeared that the dough was uncooked. The next time I make this I will mix all the dry ingredients then add the butter to it and then pour over the dough balls. It tasted good just looked very strange.

Marinated Fresh Vegetables

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
This is a good recipe for summer parties and will make again soon. I cut sugar down to 1/2 cup and vegetable oil to 3/4 cup. I used Extra Virgin Olive Oil instead of vegetable oil.

Seafood Fettuccine

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
I made according to the recipe and cooking on medium low took forever for my sauce to get thick. When I turned up the heat to medium or little above it finally got thick. My family and 2 dinner guest liked it. We had leftovers after feeding 7 with salads and bread. Good recipe.

Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
I loved this recipe and so did my family. Just like what my Mom used to make and the vanilla really make it good. I used Pure Vanilla cutting back to 3/4 teaspoon and I had light corn syrup on hand that worked fine. Thank you Edna for posting this.

Friendship Soup Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
Made about 14 of these for Christmas gifts this year. Gave them to family and co-workers. We saved pasta sauce and saurkraut jars that worked well for storage containers. The hardest part was finding large containers where they sold beef bouillon and found this at Sam's Club.

very good. Made twice this Christmas and forgot the waxed paper yesterday. Now I need to melt it again, it would not let go from my cookie sheet and when it did it is shaving pieces.

Bean Soup

We really liked this recipe. I cooked mine in a slow cooker for about 6 hours on low and an hour before serving it, I used a potato masher to mash half the beans to make it thicker. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
