About this Cook
Recently married. Like to surprise my husband every once in awhile with a homemade meal. Used to work in a food warehouse for restaurants, so I'm used to getting a lot of stuff premade and just needs to be warmed up. So it always nice to show people that I can cook also.
My favorite things to cook
I love desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Dumpling Soup and fried egg sandwiches on Christmas eve.
My cooking triumphs
Preparing my second anniversary meal sucessfully. Everthing tasted great and was done on time. Only burned myself twice and did not spill anything.
My cooking tragedies
I have burned more than one batch of cookies and buns in the past.

World's Best Lasagna
I makes this for my husband and he loves it. My 3 year old daughter will also eat more than I do and eat it for days at a time. I follow the recipe except I add minced garlic and double the amount needed.I also use one pound sausage and one pound ground beef (at least 90/10) I also somtimes use the flavored tomato sauces. My ricotta mixture is 2/3 ricotta and 1/3 cottage cheese. I have used both sliced and shredd mozz, when using shredd mozz I need a lot more because I am very liberal in shaking it on. I have tried the soaking the noodles and it worked the first time but the 3 times since then noodles did not turn out. I now buy oven ready noodles and it turns out much better, we like slightly harder noodle.

Raspberry Cup Cakes
Very easy, made in 5oz plastic cups to serve as a dessert. Quick and easy to assemble. If making cups do not pack graham cracker into bottoms hard to get out. In the cup put graham cracker mix, some raspberry sauce, cream cheese mixture and froze. Before serving spinkled top with graham cracker crumbs (plain) then put on a dollop of whip cream and spooned more raspberries over the top. Agree with some other revies that less condensed milk and more cream cheese could be used. Personal preference as to if you prefer the taste of condensed milk more than cream cheese.
