Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
MMMMMMM MMMMMMMM MMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMM...........this is the best!!! You don't even care how many calories are in this baby.... it's worth gaining a few pounds for! Any chance this is good for ya??? I substitued jalapeno also and melted a couple of pieces of monteray jack cheese w/peppers and added to mixture. Nice kick! Although I'm sure it's great as the recipe reads. Beware those who've never tried this... once you start you can't stop. Thanks for sharing this Pam. XOXOXOX

Mmmmmmm.. loved the deep almost mysterious flavor of this yummy soup!! Didn't have any twine for the spices so I used a tea ball that a neighbor had given me. Worked great!! Thanks for this delish recipe! Suzee

Oaxacan Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
It doesn't get much better than this! My husband is not a huge fan of Mexican food and doesn't care for cilantro at all. I happen to like both.. so I made these despite knowing he might not be overly thrilled. To my surprise he really... really enjoyed these. He loved the purity of the recipe. I think you have to have an adequate amount of the jalapeno, cilantro and lime to pull out that very distinct authentic flavor. It will be difficult if not altogether impossible to go back to our "usual" kind of taco after tasting these. MMMMmmm

Montreal Peppered Steak

I tried this earlier in the summer and now it's the ONLY thing I use for steaks. I dont even buy A1 anymore!! This can turn a mediocre piece of steak into something you relish eating. Absolutely yummy!!

Chef John's Turkey Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2013
First time using ground turkey to make sloppy joes. Reduced brown sugar to 1 T. and only used the first 1/2 cup of water which I added the cocoa to. I thought these were delicious and my husband even commented on how good they were. Thank's Chef John.. I'll be using this recipe alot!

Lemon Supreme Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
Made this for visiting relatives. My brother-in-law loves lemon ( I had no idea ) and fell head over heels for this. I personally thought the bottom layer needed to be a tad sweeter. Keeper!!

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

DANGER! DANGER! Make this only if you're taking it AWAY from your house with LOTS of other people around to make sure you don't bring any home with you. I made the mistake of making it for only 4 people and found myself eating the rest all by myself. Naughty Naughty. You must have willpower to resist this.

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
This reminded me of a shephards pie I used to make years ago. I forwarned my husband that it might not taste great as it wasn't the most attractive dish I've ever made. He's not thrilled with this type of meal to begin with, but I was intrigued with the rating. He loved it!! It is yummy! I used a can of cream of mushroom soup as others had suggested. I'm sure there are a number of things you could put in here without hampering the taste. I think this would make a good dish for when the grand babes visit. Seems like something kids would like. Thanks for sharing.
